Villa Uana

We had a group of nine adults. We could not have asked for a better house mom Diana, concierge service by Elsa, our driver Giovanni. We did the prearrange. Food ordering. Which was nice to not have to worry about getting something the day we got in. Diana made us a fabulous breakfast every morning, snacks and drinks. I would highly recommend doing the elite service with the with having the breakfast prepared for you. The golf carts were top-notch. Elsa was to easy to work with for last minute transportation any questions we had or any issues. Would definitely use stay in Tamarindo services again for our next day.

Our group of nine loved this place! Diana was the best house mom. She took great care of us! She made the best breakfast, snacks and drinks. I would recommend preordering food and then go to a grocery store to restock.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Uana! Our house mom, Diana, was a real highlight for us. Her Costa Rican breakfasts were out of this world delicious! She made sure we were well fed, kept the house spotless and even took care of some laundry. This was our second time staying in Hacienda Pinilla and we hope to come back soon.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Uana. Diana our house staff was absolutely wonderful. She made breakfast, lunch, snacks, helped do laundry and kept the house so clean every day. She definitely made the experience really nice and her food presentation was amazing. She was wonderful. The house was perfect for our girls grip and the neighborhood is very safe and gated. Check in was smooth and easy, the house manager is very responsive and helpful.
I recommend getting your groceries on the way into the villa as traffic can be bad or unpredictable and the grocery stores are all on the way before you get to Hacienda Pinilla. Other than that, the house has everything you need and we had a wonderful experience. I would go back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood. The house is spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained — perfect for a relaxing vacation in Costa Rica.A very special part of our experience was Diana, who helped us throughout our stay. She kept everything perfectly clean, did our laundry, and prepared delicious breakfasts every morning. Diana is kind, warm, and truly pleasant to be around. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house and property were beautiful and so clean! Elisa and Diana made the stay so memorable and special- the food was delicious! We visited in the rainy season but had plenty of sunshine during our whole stay! We were able to see a pair of parrots at the house and monkeys right down the road!

Everything about the house was great, pool, rooms, bathrooms, kitchen etc. Our housemom was great and I never want to rent another house without a house mom. Great place and terrific management company. Diana was wonderful. Her breakfast was always delicious and she did such a great job keeping the house spotless. Enjoyed having our clothes washed and folded every day. The concierge, Elsa, was terrific. They have their own private tours which were so easy to plan and excellent. She arrange a fishing trip which was great. Issues that would arise with the house were immediately addressed. Stay in Tamarindo is the best management company I have experienced. This house was also perfect and Hacienda Pinilla was great. Definitely rent a car. It was easy to get to beach club, hotel, Playa Langosta (‘y favorite) and golf, tennis and bike center. The service at the beach club was great. Having the Pinilla market so close by was very convenient. This was definitely a great stay.

Our stay in Villa Uana was paradise. We stayed there with 3 families; 6 adults and 8 children. The house was a perfect fit for us. Prior and during the trip Elsa was so accommodating. She suggested activities based on our preferences and then booked them for us. She was always prompt in responding and answered all our questions. Dianna our house mom was AMAZING! She would make huge breakfasts for our group every morning and when we returned from our adventures from the day our house was clean and laundry was done. For a regularly busy working mom swamped in housework this was a gift! If you decide to stay at Villa Uana definitely get a car. It is about a 10-15 min drive to the beach. Pura Vida!!

This was a perfect house for our stay! From the time of booking Elsa was helping me plan every aspect of our stay. She always responded quickly and her help was invaluable to the wonderful time we had there. While i was there through whats app she would respond immediately to all my messages. I traveled here with two other families. We had 6 children under 6 and 2 infants. The house was so comfortable for everyone and Diana the house mom was so amazing!! She keeps the house spotless during your stay and did our light laundry everyday. Making it a TRUE vacation. She also cooks breakfast everyday. We decided to go get the Groceries ourselves but looking back we would have done the upgrade where they provided the groceries.

Our family of 11 (all adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean, exactly as pictured, and had everything we needed. Diana, daily house keeper, cooked us breakfast any morning we desired and even prepared an authentic Costa Rican breakfast one morning. She did our laundry and cleaned daily. We had one maintenance issue to report that occurred outside with an electrical outlet that shorted out due to storms (did not impact our stay) and they were prompt to arrive and address. Hacienda Pinilla is outside the busy Tamarindo area but a quick commute (20 mins). We felt safe at all times. We enjoyed being able to walk the roads inside the resort and look for the monkeys. We ate dinner at the JW Marriott a couple of evenings which is inside the resort and a quick 10 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again!

We just got back from the best family vacation to Costa Rica. What made it so wonderful was the house that we stayed in and the wonderful people who were there to support us. The house Mom Diana was out of this world. She prepared the most amazing breakfast, snacks and fresh juices/smoothies for the kids. She kept the house spotless and even did light laundry. I wanted her to come home with us. Elsa was also fabulous. She recommend excursions, restaurants and more. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend any property that they are managing. We traveled with 3 families, 6 Adults and 8 kids to Costa Rica and stayed at this beautiful home. There was plenty of space for everyone. The home had all of the comforts of home and then some. There was a beautiful pool for the kids, great outdoor spaces and a beautiful kitchen for a large group. The community had a wonderful beach club too. What set this house apart, was the amazing team that was there to serve you. Elsa answered so many questions prior to the trip and during our trip. She had great recommendations for all of our needs, from restaurants to surf lessons and excursions she was amazing. The house Mom, Diana was such a blessing for all of us. She prepared amazing breakfasts, squeezed fresh juices, smoothies and cocktails poolside. Her guacamole and fresh pick were all amazing. She kept the house spotless and even helped with all of our laundry. It’s one of the first vacations we are going home with mostly clean clothes. Would definitely come back to stay again.

The house and property were amazing and spot on to the pictures! This was a family vacation with the kids and there was plenty of room for our group. I can’t say enough about this place and the amazing time we had. Some monkeys come visit us a few times! From the start of booking to the last day of our trip, our concierge Elsa was amazing. She helped us with any travel arrangement we needed, and she took well care of everything. We could not have done this trip with out her help. Also our housekeeper Diana was stellar. She made us amazing breakfasts and snacks and made sure we were taken care of throughout the day. I would definitely go back to this house if we can ever make it back to Costa Rica!

Elsa was key to a very relaxing and much-needed vacation for 11! From booking transportation, chef services, to tours! Definitely took the work and worry out of an enjoyable time with family. Beautiful property and home. Six bedrooms 6 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms with in suite bathroom. Very comfortable king size beds with separate air conditioners in each room for individual control Filtered water dispenser. Diana “house mom” was such a special treat and took care of cooking, laundry, cleaning etc. Elsa, the property manager was very attentive and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to visit this property again!

Everything was great about the house, the location and proximity to tamarindo. It fit 5 couples perfectly and the outdoor space was amazing. But what made this place outstanding was the house lady Diana, not only is she amazing at her job but her demeanor and warm personality made this place feel like home. She made us breakfast for every morning and worked around different peoples schedule and she went above and beyond. The host Elsa was also amazing and super attentive the whole trip. The whole team made the experience go above and beyond. The only negative was hacienda Pinilla itself where a lot of the amenities were closed or closed early because no one was working or other random reasons but besides that 5/5

Where do I began! Elsa was great from the start. She took care of all of the accommodations needed for our trip, stopped by the house to check in with us during our stay and was tentative to all of our needs. The house was perfect and amazing. It was a great layout for adults, teens and kiddos to have family and alone time while keeping the vacation time going. HOWEVER, DIANA, THE HOUSE MOM, WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! She was completely underrated in the details of the house. From the second we walked in the door she was there to take care fo anything we needed. She made the best fresh orange juice by hand! She made breakfast every day and cleaned up. She was sweet, funny and very polite without ever getting in the way of the vacation time. I wish every vacation had Diana, she is the BEST! If you are looking for a vacation rental house and service, you have found the right place!

Villa Uana saved our family/friend trip after we were cancelled on two weeks before departure on Airbnb. We were blessed to find this beautiful stay in such short notice and closer to Tamarindo than our first choice in coco. The house is large, bright, and stacked with everything you need. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable for couples and families, the kitchen is well equipped and great for entertaining, the back patio is an open and airy space for lots of pool fun and dining together. Our house mom Diana and concierge Elsa definitely made our trip smooth and memorable with their dedication to our experience. We will be back to the lovely casa uana!

Restaurants are about 25-30 minutes away in Tamarindo and there are a few close by. I recommend Il Rustico in Playa Avellanas, about a 10 minute drive from this house.

Having your own rental car or a golf cart is always what we suggest to our guests as Villa Uana is located in the private community known as Hacienda Pinilla, and it would help to have more flexibility to go to town, restaurants, or even to the groceries shops, however, the guests always decides what's most convenient for them. Elsa (our concierge) helped us with every element of our trip including transportation, activities, local food recommendations, pre-stocking of groceries and even scheduling our Covid tests. We had a group of 13 friends and the home was spacious and comfortable for all. We spent almost all of our time enjoying the beautiful backyard. Everything was spotless and comes with all the necessities you would want. The location is tucked away in a quiet and very safe community. Just close enough to Tamarindo to enjoy a night out for dinner but far enough away that it feels like a retreat of its own. The neighborhood grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Each morning she prepared a breakfast spread outside for us including coffee, juices, fruit and our preferences for the day. Our favorite meal being a local favorite that she recommended. This took all the stress out of the trip and provided the relaxation of booking a hotel. This home was a 10/10 and I would recommended it to anyone visiting the area!

Elsa (our concierge) helped us with every element of our trip including transportation, activities, local food recommendations, pre-stocking of groceries and even scheduling our Covid tests. We had a group of 13 friends and the home was spacious and comfortable for all. We spent almost all of our time enjoying the beautiful backyard. Everything was spotless and comes with all the necessities you would want. The location is tucked away in a quiet and very safe community. Just close enough to Tamarindo to enjoy a night out for dinner but far enough away that it feels like a retreat of its own. The neighborhood grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Our stay in Tamarindo was amazing! We had guest of 15 and were able to comfortably enjoy our stay. The pictures don’t do this space justice at all! It’s so beautiful in person. Every room has a bathroom, towels were changed daily, house mom was there 8-4pm daily, and many accommodations were made for us. Special thanks to Elsa for getting us prepped and ready before our travel. I’m the type of planner to have everything arranged and planned before arrival and Elsa made sure we were good to go. She arranged excursions, caterers, massage therapist, nurses, and more! She checked on us daily and made sure things were running smoothly! Second and third special thanks goes to Diana our house mom and Eddie our tour guide driver! They made our stay extra special with their kindness and knowledge of the land.
Our stay is about 20-25 minutes away from downtown Tamarindo. We rented multiple cars so this drive wasn’t bad at all. I recommend rental cars if you plan to travel outside of Tamarindo or see yourself going downtown often. It’s easier and Uber can get pretty tricky or not show up!
Nightlife was good! There’s a ton of beach bars (Pacifico, Sharkys, etc) that play an abundance of music genres! We met some cool people that recommended other nearby jungle and beach parties nearby. If you have time, see about traveling outside of Tamarindo to visit other beaches as well. Elsa will send a list of bars and restaurants she recommends to try during your stay!
Overall, this stay was one for the books and I HIGHLY recommend you book your stay in Tamarindo!

I am giving an Excellent rating because our Concierge and House Mom were the BEST EVER! Our stay wouldn't have been as easy, comforting or enjoyable without them. We had a couple hiccups, and Elsa stepped right in to assist. I would highly recommend her as your concierge and Diana is the kindest and most patient house mom. We miss her! Villa Uana is a beautiful home, clean and very inviting. We enjoyed our stay and hospitality of the Costa Rican life style.

From tee times, to a private chef, horseback riding and transportation to dinners… Elsa arranged it all and everything flowed seamless.
