Villa Tramontana

The property was wonderful and so spacious. The whole house was huge but so we'll designed. Every room was large with its own bathroom. The kitchen was immense and the dining/living room has plenty of room for large gathering. The pool is nice and the pool area has so much room for everyone to enjoy. The property also comes with a house mom and she was wonderful. Everything about the villa was wonderful and I would definitely go back if we ever go to costa rica again.

The house was great. We loved the club house and Avellana beach. Unfortunately there were road closures during our stay which made getting into town and to all our booked excursions challenging (long drives on dirt roads), other than that it was perfect!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Hacienda Pinilla! The house exceeded our expectations—spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and perfect for relaxing with family and friends.
A special thank you to Carmen, who made our stay even more memorable. She was always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Her delicious breakfasts every morning were a highlight of our trip.
Collin was an exceptional host as well. He was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.
The only part of our trip that didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience was our visit to the Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club. It wasn’t as enjoyable as we had hoped, but that was completely separate from the house and the outstanding hospitality we received.
We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation in Hacienda Pinilla. Five stars all the way!

Loved this place! We stayed here for a week with 2 families of four and it was perfect for us. Thanks to Carmen, the house was always clean and we enjoyed delicious food at home. Colin was very helpful and responsive. The layout of the house was good. The amenities were nice such as the showers, reverse osmosis, and bedding. The house is beautiful and we really liked the backyard. We found a lime tree in the yard but no juicer in the kitchen. For such a large house, it needed some WiFi extenders. Otherwise the place was absolutely perfect. Great house for large groups! Would recommend and come again.

Villa Tramontana is perfect for a large group or 2 families. It is stunning and clean. It provides plenty of space to relax together or alone. We loved the private terraces outside the Master bedrooms. We spent a lot of time in and around the beautiful pool morning, afternoon, and especially in the evening with the fireplace in the sunken pool sitting area. The linens are of great quality and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Having breakfast prepared and the house cleaned by the same person each day was very nice. However, she only spoke Spanish. Luckily most of our family is fluent in Spanish and could easily communicate with her. The kitchen is very well stocked with a lot of glasses and plenty of plates, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. Everything we needed to prepare food. We have stayed at Playa Conchal, Playa Grande, and many other beach areas in Costa Rica for over 40 years. Hacienda Pinilla continues to be our favorite area to stay. Collin was very responsive to our questions prior to and during our stay. He did an excellent job of explaining all the amenities of the house. He greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the entire house explaining everything, especially the outside projector and relaxing fire pit in the pool. We would recommend this property and return to stay here again!
