We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brisa Del Mar. The views were spectacular, the home was comfortable, and the location was unmatched. Being able to walk out to the most gorgeous beach and go surfing and the kids play in the waves was a dream. The pool was perfect. Carlos, the grounds keeper, was helpful whenever we needed something, even milk for the kids at breakfast, and was around whenever we had a question or needed help. The concierge was informative and available at any time for recommends or grabbing us birthday cakes for our celebrations. The entire experience was exceptional. We had an amazing time at our house. We loved how secluded the house was. It is a rare occasion these days to have a beach almost exclusively to yourself. There is so much to explore around the house. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We felt safe and secure. We went to Tamarindo one evening and all decided we were so thankful we chose the location of our house after navigating the crowds and parking in Tamarindo. Go there, just stay here! We also were a little nervous about other's mentioning the rip currents, but we had a blast boogie boarding out in the ocean. The kids all loved it. So much good to say. The only thing to note is that the master bedroom and one other room are more like apartments attached to the house. It isn't complicated at all but good to know that if you are in the master, you must walk down the stairs to get to the door to the main house. Words cannot describe the great vacation our family had at Brisa Del Mar. Cristina and her crew were beyond amazing. We had groceries when we arrived, she arranged deep sea fishing rental cars and so much more. She was only a text message away for local recommendations and she knows Costa Rica inside and out. Our family was very lucky to have her as our concierge. Carlos kept the pool and grounds clean for our stay. He always locked the gate at night and the security guard was awesome!! The house was incredible. We all had our own spaces and bathrooms. The Al Fresca dining and living area is where everyone gathers during the day and evening to play cards, eat a nice dinner, read a book, and just enjoy everyone’s company. This home was beyond our expectations! It is so beautiful, clean, and perfect layout for our family of 9. The views from the upstairs bedroom are breathtaking. The staff are so polite friendly and so helpful. Carlos is such an amazing caretaker, the cleaners go above and beyond while you are there. Cristina our concierge was so helpful and handled everything for us which made our trip stress free. We felt safe comfortable and right at home. We played in the pool, had incredible dinners on the patio, & played at the basically private beach daily. Our entire family agreed it is our favorite vacation hands down. When our accommodations didn’t work out at another hotel, we reached out to book Brisa Del Mar on a moment’s notice. The home was spacious with plenty of indoor/outdoor living space. Pool and beach access were both perfect. The covered outdoor living and dining areas as well as multiple quiet corners around the outside of the house made it a perfect spot to gather or escape and relax. There are few restaurants and small stores within a mile walk. Carlos was helpful and his presence put our minds at ease when traveling to an unfamiliar locale. Secluded beach retreat
Loved having the beach basically to ourselves. The house accommodated our group of 9 with varying ages well. The only thing that threw us off at first was the living area downstairs is all outdoor, there is no indoor communal area downstairs. The only indoor communal area is upstairs off the master suite. The house was beautiful, serene, and in the perfect location. We loved walking out the back door right onto the beach to surf each morning. Carlos was very helpful any time we had questions or needed assistance. He cleaned the pool and back patio each morning and made sure the property was well taken care of. The size of the house was perfect for 6 adults and 3 children.
We hosted a very small destination wedding on the property and it was perfect for photographs, small/quick ceremony, and dinner for 11 people. The host recommended a private chef service which were delicious and incredibly convenient. There is no indoor dining area, but there is ample living and dining space (with 12 chairs) outside. The breeze was cool enough to make it enjoyable even in the hot month of June.
The price of the house was perfect and well worth the size and location. There were restaurants, small grocery stores, liquor stores, etc nearby. Definitely recommend a rental car. Hope to visit again!Suzanne - Posted: 6/10/2023

This an amazing must stay Villa in Costa Rica! Breathtaking views and you are essentially on your own private beach since no other residents are around. The groundskeeper was extremely helpful 24/7 for any house issues and was attentive to our coming and going and made us feel secure. Housekeepers kept up with our large party of 12 keeping our shared spaces and bedrooms wonderfully fresh and clean. The master is something from a dream and out of this world pictures don’t do it justice! Pool is warm and the ocean is perfect with the sun setting right over a perfect rock formation every evening. The concierge Diego is extremely helpful routing shuttles for tours and providing recommendations for your daily needs. This home was Exquisite we spent the majority of our time outside by the pool and under the covered roof playing games listening to music and just overall taking in the scenery. It was absolutely wonderful that we could all control our air conditioning in our rooms and how clean everything was the kitchen is fully stocked there's not a thing in there that you could possibly want. January 2023 Our family (6 adults and 4 children ages 1-11) vacation in Playa Grande at Villa Brisa del Mar was amazing! You have to experience this vacation home and setting to fully appreciate the comforts and the beauty of this spectacular villa. Each family had their own private suite with our oldest grandson having his own space to kick back and chill as a preteen. From the spacious outdoor living area and pool to the well stocked kitchen we just relaxed and enjoyed. The beach, Playa Ventanas, will take your breath away as you walk down the path from the arbored pool gate. The views on the beach, morning, noon and night were magical. You can walk/run, explore and swim on this beautiful beach. We went shelling, observed tiny sea creatures, saw turtle tracks, swam, boogie boarded and played in the sand. It never got old! Carlos, the caretaker of the property, was so kind and helped us in every way. He was so attentive to all the details of making our stay at Villa Brisa del Mar so enjoyable. One evening the entire family went down to the beach to watch the sunset and I stayed with the 4 year old by the pool. Carlos, walked out the gate and came back a few minutes later with pictures on his phone of the sunset for me to enjoy. I was so touched by his kindness. He is the best! Diego, our concierge, was so helpful at organizing all our excursions and transportation needs to and from the airport, renting 2 cars that were delivered to the villa, arranging our tours and suggesting fabulous restaurants to enjoy. We had food delivered to the villa, so we were stocked the first day. We had a carseat and booster seat delivered for use throughout the week. Diego facilitated it all. Our family experienced the beauty of Costa Rica for 9 days with an all day rainforest tour, a horseback riding excursion on a working hacienda, a catamaran sailing tour along the coast, an estuary boat tour in the Las Baulas Estuary, renting wave runners in Brasilito and having the freedom to explore the beaches and towns along the coast with our rental cars. Just to let you know how much we enjoyed are stay…2 days before leaving wanted to extend our stay an extra few days. I messaged Diego to ask him about our options. The property was to die for.... complete privacy picture perfect w our property team attentive and the nicest of people. Eddie our driver went above and beyond to cater to our high maintenance needs. This place was nothing short of remarkable. The house is well taken care of, updated in every way. The master suite is spectacular. 20 yards away from the beach. Carlos and the security were all great and very helpful. The beach and ocean area is awesome. Almost no one on the beach and very private. Private Beach/Gorgeous home
We stayed here with our 4 adult children and 2 of their spouses. Each of them had their own beautiful suite. Our Casita was amazing, with a bedroom and living room facing the beautiful ocean. The view is incredible! Most days we swam in the ocean, walked on the beach, or lounged by the pool. The lovely outdoor space is spacious and we had family dinners at the huge outdoor dining table. There is plenty of outdoor furniture where we could sit and talk and listen to the ocean. At night we gathered in our living room and watched movies or played games. You can walk to Rip Jacks or Taco Star for lunch or dinner. We also rented a surfboard at Frijoles Locos and my son surfed at Playa Grande which is in walking distance. While in Costa Rica, there are a lot of activities to choose from but I would highly recommend the adventure hike to Leona Falls(2 hours a way). Private Beach/Gorgeous home
We stayed here with our 4 adult children and 2 of their spouses. Each of them had their own beautiful suite. Our Casita was amazing, with a bedroom and living room facing the beautiful ocean. The view is incredible! Most days we swam in the ocean, walked on the beach, or lounged by the pool. The lovely outdoor space is spacious and we had family dinners at the huge outdoor dining table. There is plenty of outdoor furniture where we could sit and talk and listen to the ocean. At night we gathered in our living room and watched movies or played games. You can walk to Rip Jacks or Taco Star for lunch or dinner. We also rented a surfboard at Frijoles Locos and my son surfed at Playa Grande which is in walking distance. While in Costa Rica, there are a lot of activities to choose from but I would highly recommend the adventure hike to Leona Falls(2 hours a way). Incredible Vacation Home

This house is incredible!!!!! Far exceeded our expectations. Well appointed, clean, gorgeous views, and we had the entire beach to ourselves. So private and restful. Loved everything about this place and would definitely return!!! 5 + stars for sure! I have check-in 4 stars because the on-site house manager spoke only Spanish. My husband and I know some Spanish so it ended up being fine. But you might want to brush up on your Spanish before coming! The town of playa grande is tiny but wonderful! If you're looking for the perfect balance of indoor/ outdoor living then look no further. The space was perfect for us, we were a group of 7. But this place could easily accommodate much more. The view from the master bedroom window of the ocean was picture perfect. The beach is obviously why anyone would book this place and you wouldn't be disappointed as it's right outside your back door literally. Its the closest to having a private beach as you're probably going to get in Costa Rica as there was next to no one on the beach. We just brought out the deck chairs that came with the property and sat back and enjoyed our evenings and mornings on the sand while the kids play. Overall our stay was just what we needed to end our time in Costa Rica. They even provided us with fresh fruits and snacks. Absolutely beautiful
Please please please don't pass this place up. Not only was the place absolutely gorgeous, the staff made everything super easy for me!!! Cris the concierge arranged all our group excursions and transportation for us. We did zip lining, horseback riding, rode ATV's, hiked to waterfalls, tubes down the river, had a catamaran ride….sooooo much!! Chef Adriana came and cooked a couple meals for us, recommended a band to come play at the house, and even recommended a hidden black sand beach for us to walk to from the house. Carlos was the property maintenance…he was like a ninja. Everything we needed he was all of a sudden there with it. Eddie, the driver , he was THE BEST!!!!!!! He even came on a whole 3 hour hike with us just because the guide didn't know English. Everyone was amazing!!! And it's because of them that this was the best vacation experience thus far.
