Ibis Condo #6

Ibis feels like our home in Tamarindo now. The location is amazing, just steps to the beach and an easy walk to downtown. The condos are always super clean and comfortable with everything we need. A huge reason we keep coming back is Rafa. He makes the whole trip so easy by helping coordinate airport transfers, tours and our golf cart before we even arrive! He always checks in to make sure everything is going smoothly. After six years, we can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Already counting down to next year!

Day trips and recommendations for restaurants. His staff are top notch which to me a that he is a great team leader.
Highly recommend staying here.
The bathrooms are looking a bit tired but are very clean. Lots of towels were provided.

The place was beautiful - better than the photos! We enjoyed the spacious living room, TV options, and cleanliness. The access to the beach club is SO NICE to always have a dedicated space to lay out and shade for when the sun was high. We also loved how walkable it was to everything. It was a little noisy, being right on the main road and near some of the beach clubs (only one night they played music past midnight - the town is usually quiet after 10pm), but it's a little farther away from the main bar/club area and the back bedroom is quieter. We also were not sure what to do about parking when we arrived: it's an enclosed lot with a gate, and you need to find the parking attendant to be let in. It was really nice having the attendant on site at all times. We felt very safe.

We loved our stay at Stay in Tamarindo. The apartment was as advertised. Rafa was great. He arranged for dinner reservations, tropical forest excursion and ride back to the airport. The tropical forest excursion was more expensive than the ones on Trip Advisor. However, consider private transportation and private tour guide for our family of 3, the price was more than justified. The Langosta Beach Club was very convivence, just few steps from a beautiful beach where we sat and watch the spectacular sunset every night. My only wish is that the gym would be better equipped with more modern equipment. The spin bike that I rode on daily was as old as I am and I am old.

We rented two units in this condo building and it was the ideal setup for our group. It gave us the chance to be together while still having our own space and privacy, perfect for large families or groups of friends. Rafa was incredible, made sure every detail was taken care of before and during our stay. The beach club is just across the street and the beach itself is so peaceful, especially in the mornings. We’re already missing Costa Rica and would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing time staying at Ibis! From the moment we arrived, Rafa was a fantastic host and super communicative. The condo itself was spotless, comfortable and well-equipped. It’s in a perfect location, just a short walk to the beach, which made it super easy to catch some waves (shoutout to Nico for an unforgettable surfing session!). Having a golf cart during our stay was a huge plus, it made getting around town effortless. Camacho the security guard, was so kind! We felt safe and at home the entire time. One of the highlights of our trip was taking the hike to the 2 waterfalls. Absolutely beautiful and a must-do if you're in the area. All in all, Ibis was the perfect home base for our adventure. We’re already dreaming about coming back.

This was our first family trip to Costa Rica and we had a great time; the condo was perfect. It’s close enough to all the excitement of downtown Tamarindo, yet just far enough to be quite peaceful in the evenings. Langosta Beach Club access is a major plus! Very responsive and knowledgeable concierge made everything a breeze. Zero complaints.

The home was spotless and very centrally located. It was easy to walk to all of the shops and restaurants. What was even better was the beach and pool access. It truly was like a high end resort except much more private. We will be staying again when we come back to tamarindo.

All good. We loved the area especially the beach area. The Condo was nice, clean, well equipped and comfortable. We would recommend moving the second sofa towards the TV wall when there are less that 3 or 4 tenants. Its somewhat in the way. We would also suggest adding coffee spoons. Other than that we loved our stay in Tamarindo. Thanks

Loved this location and being able to walk to everything in town and across from the beach. The unit was fully stocked with everything you might need and tastefully decorated. It is right on the main road so there is some road noise but can’t beat the location being near everything!

We enjoyed our stay in Playa Langosta! The condo was very well kept and clean. Rafa was quick to respond if we needed anything. It was easy to walk into Tamarindo but we liked being a little removed from the busier part of town. We especially loved having access to the Playa Langosta Beach Club(right across the street), it has a great pool that overlooks the beach with easy board rentals and surfing lessons. I would recommend this Airbnb to friends.

Ibis Tamarindo, locate at Langosta Beach, which includes use of the beautiful Langosta beach club directly across the streetl is our favorite place in this area. Our unit was spacioous, well appointed with ultra modern kitchen, laundry room, 3 balconies and a gorgeous location. We had an amazing stay at this condo in Tamarindo! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet it’s tucked away enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Ibis #6 offered first class accommodations. The unit was recently updated and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean well equipped with toiletries and towels. Langosta Beach Club access was a major plus. We felt very safe and secure having a 24 hour guard in the parking lot/condo area. Rafa was quick to respond and very helpful, just wonderful. The beach club was just what we needed to end our 10 day trip (we spent 3 days in Tamarindo). The beach club folks not as friendly as all the other people we came in contact with, I'm not sure why that is. The condo is exactly like the pictures. The pull out couch in reality did not sleep 2 people comfortably - we kind of knew that when we booked. As a suggestion, the condo could use a refresh with the paint.
We were very pleased that our flight out was for 5 PM and we had planned on staying at the beach club until we needed to leave for the airport since check out is 10 AM As it turned out, our plane was delayed until 10 PM. Thank goodness we could enjoy our time in the pool at the beach club instead of sitting in a crowded airport. Truly a peaceful and relaxing way to spend the time for a flight delay.

Ibis condos is a perfect location, close enough to town but a bit out of the chaos. Rafa was so helpful in arranging everything prior to our stay and while we were there. We loved the access to Langosta beach club right across the street!

This was the perfect Airbnb for our family. The best part was access to the Langosta Beach Club, especially traveling with a toddler. There is a shallow part of the pool that is perfect for small kids, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the cabanas were super convenient. We saw monkeys, iguanas, and sea turtles on the beach right in front of the beach club. In terms of the condo, the space was clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. We used the grill to make steaks and were happy with all the devices and utensils in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable, showers worked well, and having a washer and a dryer was clutch with our toddler. There was security on site and it felt very safe. The location is about a 5 min walk into the center of Tamarindo (and easy to do with our travel stroller). Note that travel cribs must be rented for an additional charge. The only issue was our door code didn't work on check-in but the host resolved that quickly.

Très bien situé, seulement à quelques minutes à pied du centre ville de Tamarindo.

Great location just outside of Tamarindo center. Condo was a good size and had several outdoor balconies. Best part was the beach club (Langosta) across the street, with beautiful pool, good food and easy beach access. This condo was just perfect for us. It was very well appointed, beautiful decor and spacious. The outdoor terrace was also, very comfortable and quite large. The condo is located a short, and safe, 10 minutes walk from downtown Tamarindo. Having access to the Langousta Beach Club was fantastic. We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 kids. We just got back from our Spring break trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ibis #6. The house had everything we needed and loved the proximity to the club house (right across the street). We loved the added perk of having access to the club house. The club house had a nice pool, lounge chairs, cabanas, a gym, and full bar and kitchen. The staff were all extremely friendly. The beach is beautiful and equipped with more lounge chairs to use. They have security on duty 24/7 in the parking lot, so we felt extra safe during our stay (they were also super kind). Rafa, our guest coordinator was very helpful with local suggestions and helped us arrange, surf lessons, fishing and a sailboat sunset cruise, all of which we really enjoyed. If we ever go back to the Tamarindo area we will definitely book this airbnb again! If you are looking for an affordable place, with great amenities and wonderful service, look no further!

The pictures don’t do the listing justice. Rafa and the Stay in Tamarindo staff do a great job of ensuring the place is very well kept. The place had beautiful furnishings but the Langosta beach club is where we were daily to hang out on the beach, by the pool, go to the gym, and meet other vacationers- if we weren’t doing local activities - and the beach is amazing just to watch, wade or surf! The people are so kind and trustworthy in Costa Rica! We walked day and night and felt safe. There’s a grocery store about 5 minutes down the street for anything you need so we walked there daily. The security staff always made sure only guests walked into the condos so we never felt uneasy. Rafa was very responsive for every question before, during and after our stay. There were so many things to do (they give you a list of local excursions you could book) so we have to go back. I’ll be booking with them again. It was so hard to leave! We had an incredible time.

Excellent location. Place has everything you need. We were able to check in early. Security & maintenance staff was awesome. Be warned, make sure balcony door is unlocked before you close it behind you. Don’t lock yourself out on the balcony like we did and then have to yell for the maintenance guy to come let you back in!

The condo itself was spacious and well appointed. It had everything you might need in the kitchen if you were cooking, which we did very little of of b/c there were many great restaurants we wanted to experience in Tamarindo. Definitely try Dragonfly and Red Door! Rafa was very helpful and arranged activities for us. The unit was on the street side and we could hear everything and there were no window coverings so our daughter who slept in the living room was awoken early by the traffic and sunlight. Upon our arrival, I will say I was disappointed that we were not informed that the none of 3 tv's were working in the unit. We did not learn of the issue until I contacted the concierge and it took several days for the issue to be resolved. we chose the Ibis b/c it had access to the Beach club and while for the most part the Beach club was great, we had some significant issues that would make me hesitant in returning. The Beach Club did not have enough lounge chairs and their management seemed lacking. If you want to be close to action in Tamarindo, the Ibis is a great choice for the location, spaciousness of condo, for a family of 5 adults, and it had plenty of towels etc.

The condo was less than a 5 minute walk to the heart of Tamarindo. The Langosta Beach club was a great home base for beach days and fitness room. Rafa and his team always helped us and were very welcoming. The only drawbacks to the condo are the glass shower doors…they don’t close all the way and we were worried they looked ready to break. The only other issue was we used the sofa bed in the living room, which had no curtains or blinds, so that person woke up with the sun.

We had an absolutely amazing time in the apartment in Tamarindo. The location was perfect. We enjoyed being at the quieter end of the beach but all within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The apartment was so well stocked, everything had been thought of. It was clean and the perfect size for our family. The security staff were amazing. We felt very safe and looked after. We even had our car washed!
The bonus of this booking for us was the access to the Beach Club. I used the gym most mornings and we made use of the pool and lay on the sun loungers every day. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. There is not anything I could fault. We did not want to leave!

2 Excelente seguridad, hay un guarda en todo momento y el carro se mantiene a la sombra.
3 La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para una cómoda estadía(lavaplatos por ejemplo), mi hija dijo que era la cocina perfecta. Cuenta con balcón y hay una parrilla.
4 Solo se cruza la calle y se llega al club Langosta, el cual está frente a la Playa, un lugar encantador con piscina, sillas alrededor de la piscina y sillas para estar en la playa, cuenta con Gym y área para masajes Lo abren de 8 am a 8 pm, rodeado de plantas, bastante acogedor, muy familiar y bastante seguro el

Niko and his group provide lots of fun beach toys to rent (kayaks, surfboards, Hawaiian canoe, etc.). The surf instructors are incredible - especially Steven and Richard who worked with me and my kids. Can't say enough about this fabulous crew!

Nice condo in a great location. It is a short walk to downtown and is directly across the street from the Langosta Beach Club. Having access to the beach club was a nice benefit. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Amazing condo with updated appliances and extremely comfortable beds! The condo looks to be private owned but managed by a company, which is the best of both worlds - wonderfully furnished with super responsive management. The beach club access directly across the road is the best amenity of this condo. There’s a great surf school/rental in the beach club, so there were many day stretches where we didn’t even leave the vicinity. The condo is located right at the beginning of the Langosta neighborhood. This is great because it’s super peaceful, but super close (quick walk) to Tamarindo town. For remote workers - we had reliable wifi during our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

A great family friendly condo in a perfect location. We had free access to a beach front pool/bar/restaurant right across the street. A very secure property with a guard on site 24/7. Rafa was a wonderful resource before and during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Location is fantastic. Short walk to beach or town. Condo had everything we needed. Love the neighboring beach club for pool, food, drinks. There was monkeys in the trees right outside our room almost daily. Condo #5 had the best monkey views while we were there.

Unit #6 is a well-furnished west facing unit at Ibis across from Langosta Beach Club. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff at the Beach Club is awesome. The guards Carmacho, Olden, and Alexander were particularly friendly and helpful. Alexander evern washed our car for us twice without us asking! Rafa is very attentive and helpful with booking tours, etc. The surfing instructors Nico and Nacho are also great. Overall, the beach club and staff are a huge benefit to renting at Ibis. In addition, the location across the street from the beach and the pool is top notch. You can walk anywhere you want to go - dozens of restaurants, plenty of grocery stores. We have spent over a month in Tamarindo and this place is really perfect for accessibility without being in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. The pool and beach club area are beautiful and clean. The food and drink there is a little expensive, but it's good. The ability to run back and forth between the club/beach and your condo is great. It's also a great advantage to have access to the beach chairs and tables. We would definitely stay again.

Booked this place less than a week ahead, and were simply overjoyed with the location, the quality of the property, the amenities and accessories. Bells and whistles a plenty - google play and Wifi throughout, brand new gas grill on the patio, games in the armoire, books, etc. could have stayed there for another month . The beach club was a nice feature too, giving us beach and pool access. Hospitality was amazing and value for the money was unbeatable. Loved this place!
