Ibis Condo #1

This place was by far my favorite in Tamarindo so far and I’ve stayed in five different places. Rafa was so helpful in making transportation arrangements and recommendations for excursions. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I’ll be back very soon!!! ?????

Loved everything about this property. Clean, comfortable and proximity to activities was perfect. Access to the club, pool, and beach chairs right on the ocean made the stay even better. Would definitely stay again!

Rafa was a wonderful host. The condo delivered everything promised. it was nicely appointed, close to everything but far enough from Tama to afford some peace and quiet. The beach club access was a definite plus. We were there for drinks and surf every day. I totally recommend this location.

Cute cozy comfortable condo with everything you could need. Great location for beach access. Area is quiet and peaceful but just a short walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was incredible, especially Camacho. There was a noisy party in the condo next to us one night, but I think that was an unusual occurrence and didn’t really bother us terribly. Would stay here again!

Great week in Tamarindo - just close enough to town to access everything by foot, and just far enough away to feel like we had some peace and quiet. The Langosta Beach Club was a fantastic perk. All info provided in advance helped to make our stay easy and enjoyable.

My family of four had the opportunity to stay at the IBIS condo for one week. We found the property to be well maintained, secure, well-equipped, conveniently located across the street from the Langosta Beach Club and in walking distance to many restaurants and shops in downtown Tamarindo. At one point our dishwasher stopped working. We contacted Rafa, the property manager, and although he couldn't fix the issue immediately, he coordinated for the cleaning staff to attend to our dishes later that day. He was also very helpful coordinating a cruise for us to enjoy. Rafa is easy to communicate with and willing to help make any guest's stay in Costa Rica enjoyable. The relationship the condo has with the beach club is wonderful! The beach club has a great gym, relaxing pool, delicious pool side restaurant, and a fabulous staff. My son took surf lessons with the surf instructors located on the beach at the beach club. Jeffrey and Mathis were excellent instructors. We highly recommend this property for a fantastic vacation.

Just what we needed! Close to the beach and pool. Beach club has great food and we ended up eating a few meals there. The room that is not the master has doors to go outside which did not close all the way. We did find lots of bugs and a lizard throughout our stay but nothing we couldn’t handle! Great space.

Absolutely loved my stay at Ibis! The beachfront location was perfect, and I had such a great time relaxing by the ocean. Rafa was friendly and attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable. Can't wait to visit again!

Everything about our stay in Tamarindo was great. The condition and location of Ibis #1 condo was ideal. Having the beach club (including pool, bar/food) directly across the street, and the wonderful beach steps away was fantastic. In addition the condos are walking distance to ton and many good restaurants. We would highly recommend the Ibis condos.

The Ibis condos are in the best location for access to the beach, including chairs and tables. The condos are directly across the street from the Langosta Beach Club. Since they are partners, the usual beach club fees are wived ($50pp). The beach club has excellent food service and a bar with two TVs. Worked out great for watching the NFL playoff games! We had a golf cart so we traveled into the town for our meals or to the community of Langosta - all food was excellent! The condo was clean and had AC plus all the amenities of a kitchen including small appliances. We used the patio most of the time when we were there, we enjoyed hearing the monkeys, parrots and many other birds. We visited with several people who had stayed at Air B&Bs in the past, but relocated to the condos for better beach and pool access. I would stay at Ibis again!

This is where you want to stay! Out of the bustle of town but close to everything! Rafa and his team made our week vacation so easy! Whatever you need tours, transfers, golf carts, grocery, atm, and unroasted coffee beans! So knowledgeable and the other staff are very caring and friendly. Loved the beach club being just across the way, food and drinks are great! The condo was enjoyable and served our needs well.

Was very satisfied with the location and amenities of the ibis condos. Being able to access the beach club and beach just across the street was awesome. Short 5 minute walk and you're in the middle of town with all the restaurants and shops. If we visit Tamarindo again, it will be at the ibis condos.

We loved the location of IBIS condo and the position (on the back side instead of the front street). It was spacious and well furnished. Had two issues: sewer smell in master bathroom and air conditioner froze and had to be repaired. Rafa was quick to respond on those issues. We would return to this condo. It is across street from beach club…very convenient.

Beautiful Condo! Right across the street from beach club (which you will receive full access during your stay) and then steps to the beach. We have stayed in these condos since 2020 and do not want to stay any place else when we head up to playa Langosta. It’s a very spacious 2 bedroom condo with a well equipped kitchen. Perfect spot for two couples or a family of 4. You will love this condo!

This is a comfortable, well-appointed vacation condo that’s accessible and nearby to many restaurants and bars yet just far enough away to feel secluded from the busyness of Tamarindo. The condo is right across the street from the Beach Club, which has a great beachfront, resort-style pool and bar with good food and drinks. Waking distance to the club with beach access is a huge plus of staying here. Check-in was seamless and our host, Rafa, was super welcoming and offered to help plan anything we wanted to do in the area. A/C was heavenly as was the plentiful hot water. Good wifi. Would highly recommend this condo if you’re looking for a well-located and quiet spot in Tamarindo with a nice pool and beach access.

Very nice, clean, well equipped condo! Great location across from beach club and 5 minute walk to town. Management staff was very professional and responsive before and during stay. The unit was very clean and well maintained. Prior to arrival they sent a great link with all the unit info, restaurants and other info you might need so we felt comfortable prior to arrival and really had no questions while we were there. Would definitely stay in this unit again!

Perfect stay in Ibis unit #1. Host was very responsive and professional. The pictures are recent and accurate. The unit was very clean, had newer appliances, fully equipped kitchen and great AC. The location is perfect as it was right across the street from the beach club which we used every day and also only a 5 minute walk into town for restaurants, grocery stores, bank, etc. Staff was excellent as they kept everything really clean and also set up our covid test for return flight. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend staying here.

Rafa and team were so incredibly amazing. Some of the highlights we’re talking with them and seeing how much they care about their guests. The condo was amazing and clean and safe. Very nice appliances, towels, beds, everything was upscale. We loved cooking in the house for breakfast and lunch and found it incredibly easy to walk or drive quickly to the best of Tamarindo. We loved our stay and are ready to come back and make it a family tradition. Location is perfect if you love quiet and right across from the beach. Langosta beach club was a real treat. We give the condo and our experience with the staff 10/10. A+.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Ibis condos! The only thing we’d suggest is having a salt & pepper shaker and sugar for coffee. Bed was comfy, loved the decor and location was perfect! Staff were amazing! Would stay there again!

Had a great stay here, condo is bigger and nicer than the pictures do it justice, my master room was actually a king, had room for like 10 people in my shower and the kitchen is massive. Having on site staff/security onsite throughout was great, could ask Rafa anything and get immediate help, let's also talk about the beach club access! Great club at Langosta, pool/vibe amazing and right by the beach so you can have a good meal, hangout on the beach or book a cabana (for free) and kick back! Recommending any friends/family going to Tamarindo to stay here.

The location was perfect ! Literally a 2 min walk to a stunning beach. The condo was clean, the beds were comfy and the a/c worked fabulously. A well appointed kithchen made our stay easy and convenient. Being just outside of town made it a quiet spot but a 10 min walk put you back in the hustle and bustle if you wanted to be. Rafa and Juan looked after any arrangements we needed, car rentals, excursions etc, and were great sources of information. They helped make our vacation memorable. This was our first visit to Costa Rica but it certainly won't be our last. Not only is this area beautiful our condo was perfect for 2 couples to share. The condo was equipped with comfy beds, a great kitchen with beautiful appliances and fabulous a/c to cool you down after a warm day on the beach. With security guys watching the property we felt very safe at the condo. Having access to the Langosta Beach Club, literally a two min walk, was a nice bonus. Although we didn't really use the pool, we did appreciate having beach chairs and bar service. We had dinner at the beach club one night and the food was really good, although a little pricey. Usually we ate out one night and would cook at the condo the following night. The location of the Ibis at the Beach Condo's was perfect for us. We were just far enough outside of town to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that you could easily walk to pick up groceries, go to the Saturday farm market or go out for a meal. As it was only an 7-10 min walk to town we didn't rent a golf cart but they were available if you chose to do so. We did rent a car for a few days and took a trip another beach. We also drove to La Fortuna area to see Arenal Vocano and to stroll through the rainforest. The rainforest is amazing ! If you get the chance to go, do it ! Renting the car was super easy as Juan looked after the whole thing and Rafa made our hotel arrangements while La Fortuna. Juan and Rafa really do look after you. They were a great source of information and were very patient with our string of never ending questions. It was great to have one of the guys greet you when you came in the building and they seemed genuinely interested in how your day was going. It was such a great vacation and we can't wait to return ! Pura Vida !

Condo was immaculate and more than what was expected. Pictures do not show how nice is really is. With the exception of the dial up speed internet (apparently a pervasive problem in this part of CR) everything worked well. Membership in the Langosta Beach Club, right across the street, that comes with the Condo is key to spending your days at one of the most perfect beaches anywhere. Rafa and Stefano, the concierges at the Condo, and Bob Wilson provide hotel style help and arrangements. The Condo has perfect location. Close enough to main part of town so no car is necessary yet just beyond so not crowded or noisy. Will return.

We stayed a week in April and thoroughly enjoyed the Langosta Beach Club. It's just far enough out of town to be quiet, but close enough that you can easily walk downtown in 10 minutes. Tamarindo has a busy nightlife, so not being in the middle of it was great for us. The condos are clean,spacious, modern, have a well-equipped kitchen and air conditioning. Across the street is the Langosta Beach Club which is included in the cost of your condo. It has a beautiful pool, bar, and restaurant, and, then the beach with chairs and full bar and restaurant service. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

My family of 4 stayed in this condo over Thanksgiving Break in November. It is beautiful, bright, clean, and the location is unbeatable! You literally walk across the street to the Langosta Beach Club (to which a membership is included during your stay), and you're on the beach! We did not rent a car and were able to walk everywhere...into town, down the beach, restaurants, etc. Tamarindo is a great area! Juan and Stefano from the condo complex are fantastic and will make sure you arrive safely from the airport (fly into Liberia!), and will book whatever adventure you would like to go on. The Beach Club rents surf boards and gives lessons to people of any and all capabilities. (I highly recommend surfing...it's a blast!) The bar and wait staff there are great, and it even has a fitness center. Definitely recommend this condo! You can't go wrong!

We've been all over Costa Rica and the Nicoya Peninsula for the past 10 years and really enjoyed this location. The condo is extremely nice. Clean, great amenities, very spacious, and nice separation between rooms. It was also very convenient. There aren't too many places that can offer beach service, chairs, a pool with a beach view, and a restaurant and this place has it all. Can't wait to bring the family back here. It will be very easy to monitor kids on beach or in pool while relaxing and husband can surf. Highly recommend. Also didn't hesitate to walk around after dark. To/from town is very quick and easy. Loved the vibe of the town.

We needed a place to please multiple ages (14-75) and interests, and this was it! This GORGEOUS condo is in a quiet spot right across from the beach and just a quick walk to tons of great restaurants, a market, and shopping. You can walk the road or the beautiful beach.To access the beach, you walk through the Langosta Beach Cub, a luxurious spot with cabanas surrounding an infinity pool, a bar, a lovely restaurant, a gym, and a spa, all of which you have access to while staying in the condo. As the saying goes, "Pretty is as pretty does", and the staff went WAY beyond expectations to make our stay awesome. Bob drove me to the big grocery store (have two teenage boys to feed), and Sebastian arranged a 4 a.m. pick up for us to the airport and recommended a restaurant (Patagonia) that had the best steak I've eaten in my 48 years. Juanro arranged a private surfing excursion to Playa Grande for my boys they will remember forever. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate us, and it truly felt like a home away from home...only better!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and was highly recommend by a co-worker (she had been here twice)! Everything that she told be about eh place was correct. Bob and the staff was VERY friendly and helpful in everyway we could imagine. Plane was 2 hours late coming in yet the transportation that was arranged for us was there waiting with a sign. Once we got to the condo Bob arranged for one of his employees to take us to the grocery store so we had some food to start our week with. We ate supper at the Langosta Beach Club (their hamburgers are to die for). We discussed with Bob and the staff what we would like to do for the week and got that all arranged that first afternoon they booked it and arranged for transportation to and from wherever we needed it. The eight days that we stayed went by way to fast. Everyone (native and vacationers) where super friendly and helpful. The Langosta Beach Club membership was included with the villa. We would be on the beach by nine each morning and stay all day or until we had to go on the next adventure. You will not find a better place to spend your vacation.

Bob, Veronica, & Karla were great hosts and most helpful coordinating activities and transportation! We felt welcomed as if we were family. The condo is as the pictures represent and just across the street from the beach. I felt at ease letting the kids walk back and forth from the beach/condo without my supervision. Tamarindo is a short walk by road and even shorter walk by beach. We especially enjoyed the Black Stallion Ranch's Friday night grilled seafood and Longboard's North Carolina style BBQ restaurants. We also enjoyed the TicoToGo take-out delivery with our Baula's Pizza. We loved Tamarindo as well as the Ibis Condos ~ can't wait to go visit them again! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

This trip was one of the best we had. The unit is spotless and comfortable with all the high-end Bosh appliances to cook and even wash your clothes. The staff is nice and the beach club is incredible; with the gym, restaurant, the pool and the beach side, it was great. If you want to do any kind of activities, staff are there to help. The food is good and the beach is beautiful. The condo is amazing as you can discover the wildlife of Costa Rica just by sitting outside, looking at the family of monkeys was amazing! It is also kid friendly! It is always sunny in Tamarindo and the weather is perfect.

My husband and I stayed in this gorgeous condo for one wonderful week. It was our first trip to Costa Rica and we are already planning to return next year. The unit was spotless, the furniture and beds comfortable, and the AC and water worked flawlessly. It was wonderful to have a full sized kitchen and washer and dryer, although all we used was the coffee maker and the fridge,as there were so many great restaurants nearby. Directly across the road is the equally wonderful Langosta Beach Club that we had full access too with its great air conditioned gym, pool, lounge chairs and cabanas. The bar is a favorite gathering place for other property owners nearby and we met a lot of interesting people there. The restaurant and bar are fantastic. The staff at both Ibis and the Beach Club are interesting, helpful and fun!! Make sure you reserve a seat for Friday night's dinner that includes great live entertainment. It was a short walk down huge Tamarindo beach for a fabulous "Tico" breakfast every morning, siting at a table right on the beach. The town of Tamarindo is right behind these beach restaurants where there is great shopping, a grocery store and every service you might need. There were several shops with beautiful goods made in Costa Rica. We found that it was easier to walk the beach than the road into town as it does not yet have sidewalks. Or, it was always easy to get a cab, either from Ibis or from the taxi stand in the middle of town. We did not rent a car as Bob arranged transportation from and back to the Liberia Airport and the one excursion we took included transportation. All the other reviews included here are exactly true, I would agree with them all, that this is a great property and anyone staying there will not be disappointed!

We went to Costa Rica for our first time. We were extremely pleased to have stayed at the Ibis #1. It is comfortable, modern and fully equiped. Very close to town and yet very private and secluded. We appreciated the location on the ground level and in the back of the building as it is private and quiet. The beach club is a great benefit and we used the training area almost everyday. Bob and Veronica were always there to help and contributed to make our stay worry free. Tamarindo is a great place and full of restaurant and different activities. We highly recommend Ibis #1 for it's overall quality, access to a prestige beach club, great beach and activities. Excellent vacation!

I stayed in this unit for three weeks at the beginning of may 2012 and I have nothing but amazing stuff to say about the Ibis residence and condo that we were staying in. The place just has a great flow, really open concept and luxurious as well. It is situated on the first floor witch makes it easily accessible but its also private so you will feel right at home. The photos in the listing are really accurate of the real experience, what you see is what you get.... but its a 100% better when you're actually there! The place is always clean and people that work there are nice and welcoming. The beach is right across the road, there is also a nice beach club and restaurant witch is nice to have a drink at sunset after a good day of surfing ! The location is also really great, everything you need is a walking distance : restaurants, grocery stores, bars, shops... Tamarindo is a nice small town and has a lot to offer you will not get bored there. I would recommend this place to everybody that I know and will probably be going back myself as soon as I can !

I've been blown away by this condo and its location. Everything is at walking distance from the condo, maids clean the condo every 2-3 days, people are caring and really likable and everything is included inside the space (kitchen with every appliance you need, big bedrooms, patio, 2 showers, etc). We stayed at Ibis number 1 condo and we loved it! The place is great, location is awesome and the staff people are super gently. The condo is seconds away from the beach where you can find a beach club that will serve you great food and beverages. Really modern and anything you need to have a peacefull stay. We were there for 3 weeks and was totally worth it. We highly recommends that condo for an awesome getaway, and this applies to any type of clientèle.

We stayed at this unity for three weeks and it was a blast! The condo was even nicer than we thought it would be. The main room is great since it's so big. The kitchen is large and you have a lot of place to cook which is great! The two bedrooms are far apart so you won't hear other people snore ;) There are three doors that lead outside on balconies + the main door. The place is very well ventilated if you open all doors, yet, if you close everything, you feel very cozy after sunset. The beach is 30 seconds away - and it's a very nice part of the beach! A lots of places to go from there too! After two weeks, we decided to rend from Budget a car for two days and discover other places in Costa Rica. The ride was awesome and the condo was super clean when we came back. Awesome. The place is just near the Langosta Beach Club - people at the club are just as nice as the ones who take care of the condos (Bob and others)! I would totally go again.

We stayed at this condo the first week of April 2012 and LOVED it. The condo is new and very clean and the one we stayed in had three outdoor sitting areas where we ate breakfast every day. It is decorated beautifully and has many perks including an iPod dock, cable TV if you want to watch American TV and laundry. The condo has everything you’ll need to feel at home in Costa Rica – we used the kitchen to make breakfast and lunch almost every day. It was easy to run across the street from the pool or the beach to grab a snack or drink. The Beach Club privileges are great. We visited Easter week which is one of the most crowded times and we always got a beach chair. The staff is extremely nice and polite and you will feel safe because they have 24-hour security. As nice as the condo was, the best thing about the place is the location. It is a nice walk from the town where there are many restaurants and shops and it is far enough away that you can’t hear city noise. There is a market right down the road where you can pick up food, alcohol, sunscreen, etc. Bob, the owner, even arranges your airport transfer. The only suggestions we have are to bring beach towels because the Beach Club does not provide them and don’t bring nice shoes because the condo is on a dirt road that gets a little dusty. If you’re planning a trip to Tamarindo, you should definitely book this place!
