Welcome to Casa Taman, a brand new 4,300 square foot (403 m²) five-star luxury villa situated on a private 1.6-acre (6,500 m²) property, with direct access to the beautiful beach of Santa Teresa. Casa Taman is located in the northern, most exclusive part of Santa Teresa Beach and provides private access to the white-sand beach. Surfers can find the most consistent waves in Costa Rica along this beachfront property.

The space

"Casa" stands for “home” in Spanish and "Taman" for “garden” in Indonesian, and that jungle tropical feeling is exactly what you will experience while being 100m away from the beach and the ocean. The villa design is modern, classy, and hippie chic, making you feel at home away from home.

This 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom villa comfortably accommodates one large family, two smaller families with children, or a group of friends in a unique, private, and safe location. Casa Taman is located within North Creek Estate, on the same property as Casa Lanui (7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms). Both houses can be rented separately or together for large groups, sleeping up to 28 guests.

Casa Taman features three master bedrooms with king-size beds overlooking the swimming pool and one children’s bedroom with two bunk beds, accommodating 4 in total. The spacious living areas can be opened towards the swimming pool. The inside living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with bar seating at the island. The dining area consists of a 10-foot-long table that comfortably seats 10 people. Guests can relax in the big, comfortable lounge area in front of a 60” television while looking out towards the pool and jungle.

In front of the living room, you can enjoy a pool with shallow hang-out areas surrounded by terraces with several lounge chairs for your tanning and leisure activities. Beyond that, there is a large garden to play in and hang out, with hammocks to relax in the shade. The beach in front of North Creek Estate is stunning, with pristine sand that stretches endlessly. You can relax in full privacy in the shade of numerous trees while watching some fantastic, consistent surf. A private path along a lovely creek leads you from the house to the beach.

Neighborhood overview

Santa Teresa, a string of beaches on the southern tip of Costa Rica’s northwestern peninsula, has an edge-of-the-world vibe that still feels remote and inspires relocation dreams. Driving down the dusty dirt road that connects the area’s four beaches—Playa Carmen, Playa Hermosa, Santa Teresa, and Mal Pais—you will wonder what your life would be like in a town that experiences almost year-round sunshine (punctuated by the occasional biblical rainstorm, sure) and consistent 80-degree temperatures. This road, which runs parallel to the beach, has many cute cafés, restaurants, galleries, and the occasional fashion boutique dotted among the surf shops.

We are strongly committed to ensuring that future generations can enjoy and use natural resources. Therefore, we conduct our daily practices with the environment in mind, aiming to minimize the green footprint. As part of our efforts, we are committed to:

- Protecting the ocean by professionally treating all our wastewater with a sewage treatment plant and processing our grease with authorized providers.

- Reducing the amount of water used to wash our linens every three days.

- Minimizing the waste sent to landfills by composting 100% of our cooking waste, whether raw or cooked and using the resulting compost to nurture our gardens. Additionally, we classify our garbage into recyclables and non-recyclables, turning it in upcycle projects.

- Participating in community efforts to clean up beaches and properly process the plastic we collect from our beachfront line.

- Reducing our carbon footprint by equipping our A/C units with eco-sensors to ensure their efficient use, staying on only as needed.

- Decreasing our electricity consumption with a state-of-the-art automatic system that efficiently manages all lights.

- Choosing products that comply with environmental operation standards.
