We stayed here for my Wifes 50th and invited some friends and family to stay with us, we had a total of 21 people at the property and still felt like we had plenty of space. The dirt road leading up to the entrance to the property was a little rough, and some of our guests could not comfortably do the walk up and down, I strongly suggest renting a golf cart (Which we did) but it's still pretty rough, even with a cart. The house keepers were amazing and cooked a great breakfast daily!

We LOVED Casa Puros Dieces. We had 11 in our group, and there were a handful of rooms that we didn't even use - the property can fit quite a few more. It is truly a property - much to explore. Cris, the concierge, is super responsive. The onsite staff was phenomenal - Jorge, Kendy, and Jessica. They cooked delicious breakfasts every morning (we supplied the food - several markets and a grocery store nearby), cleaned the rooms and central area of the property, did laundry, etc. The elevated views over the Pacific Ocean and Tamarindo Bay are breathtaking day and night. The bedrooms were fine - nothing special but nothing wrong either; a couple could use some black out curtains if you wish to sleep in at all (some rooms had them, and some didn't). It is walkable to/from the main strip and beach in Tamarindo but I would HIGHLY recommend a golf cart. We made several trips to and from the house each day and it would have killed a great deal of our time and energy without the carts.

The house is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay celebrating my Wifes birthday! We had four families and 20 total people and still felt like we had plenty of room for all. The road leading to the property is a bit challenging as the last couple hundred yards are very steep and uneven, bit we rented a couple golf carts to shuttle our guests back and forth to the beach. The concierge service and the house keeping staff were very helpful in creating a great experience for all.......... Highly recommend!!

We had 17 family, all over 18 yrs old, and it was great. Jorge, Cris, Jessica, and Kendy were top notch. Our driver, Alberto, was patient, funny, and very welcoming. Couple items to prepare for: There are a few little four legged “bandits” that are out to steal your food (if left out). Hot water is a little tricky. Swimming pool is amazing but hard to grill due to lighting. Still I’ll give it a 9.5/10 ?

Our stay at this stunning house in Tamarindo was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. While the hill to get to the house is a bit steep, it's absolutely manageable and we found that renting golf carts made it a breeze. The house itself was amazing—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Every morning, Jorge and the fantastic cleaning staff prepared a delicious breakfast for us and kept everything spotless, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Cris, our incredible concierge. She checked in on us daily, helping us set up an unforgettable catamaran day and an in-house chef dinner. Cris went above and beyond, even adjusting our sailing trip to the morning due to weather conditions, which we really appreciated. My friends and I had the time of our lives and can't wait to return. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Tamarindo. It's the perfect getaway!

We had the most amazing stay for my dad's 70th birthday celebration - the house is even more stunning in person with a perfect gathering spot for the whole extended family. We easily fit 13 people, and couldn't have asked for a better home base for our Costa Rica adventure. Cris was our concierge and she went more than above and beyond to help book every activity and excursion while being flexible and accommodating. Her recommendations were amazing, and she guided us to the perfect trip. We would love to come back!!!

This house was incredible! The best views of the ocean with the most amazing sunsets. We had a group of 18 and the layout was perfect so everyone did not feel on top of each other. They were spread out and private. Great sizes and all the bathrooms were great. The house staff were phenomenal and cooked delicious breakfast every morning, super attentive, professional and extremely friendly. The house concierge was awesome! She was super responsive, helpful for any request and all around on point. Our sales rep, Deane, was awesome as well. He listened to what I was wanting all around and nailed the spot. He was extremely responsive, professional, friendly and really good at his job. I had some delays with our original concierge, I’m thinking she might have been new but was very nice. There’s only two recommendations I would have for the house - better pillows with extras and blackout shades for all rooms, Sun comes up early and is bright all around. Most of the rooms had blackout shades. Honestly I’m not sure how anyone could have a bad time at this property. It’s fully stocked, excellent kitchen, plenty of towels, AC works great and just a beautiful property. You will not be disappointed if you book here!

This stay was absolutely amazing and the house is breathtaking. The staff on hand are superb and do their best to make sure all your wants and needs are fulfilled. Very kind people. The house concierge, Christina Gonzalez gave first class service. All the excursion were beyond anything we could have imagined and her hospitality, and coordination of activities, rides, chefs, etc is unmatched! I highly recommend this property and their team! We stayed here with a group of 12 friends , celebrating milestone birthdays. Everything about this house was a dream from the views, to the layout and cleanliness. What made this vacation even more beautiful was the staff, and services . Jorge , Hessica and Kandy were so lovely and made us feel even more comfortable. The house was amazing and had great view looking over the beach. All the staff there did an excellent job. With booking excursions, food and transportation, the communication to get everything together was a very easy process. With a group of 20 people, the house had so much space that you didn’t feel like you were right on top all your guests. All the rooms in the house were great and had its own little area. The Stay in Tamarindo property was absolutely beautiful, the views were breathtaking and EXACTLY as pictures reflect. Home was immaculate, spacious for our entire 16 guest group. Everyone was comfortable throughout this extremely spacious home. Each bedroom/bathroom was spacious & the house overall was simply a gem! The staff led by Jorge was amazing and extremely attentive. From the moment we arrived, Jorge was there to greet us & attend to our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed on the onset of our stay. Kendi & Betty was also very attentive in preparing a great breakfast every morning (except Sundays .. they all are off..deservingly) & cleaning up. They were very attentive,gracious, catered to our needs. Jorge went above & beyond making sure we were comfortable & had all we needed for our stay. This included going to the store to pick up a few things when we ran out. He was definitely at our beck& call. We really valued their service. The planner Cristina was great!!

Casa Puros Dieces is a treasure not to be missed. Waking to the monkeys talking to each other and dancing in the trees gives a native tone to the comfortable and spacious accommodations, water views and en suites. The living area reflects the Polynesian setting. An ocean view reflecting off an infinity pool on one side and a massive dining table overlooking a private garden and massage temple on the other. Jorge, Jessica and Kendy complete the package with high standards and individual attention to housekeeping, laundry and breakfast fit for a king. Easy access to excellent restaurants, shopping, and activities galore is available. Horseback riding on the beaches, zip lining through the forest, ATV'ing through the jungles and snorkeling followed by lunch on a 46' catamaran. Thanks for a wonderful time.

I had the pleasure of returning to Casa Puros Dieces for a second time, and can not sing higher praises for the property and the staff. Cristina was fantastic in helping us select and book excursions, and the onsite staff are warm and welcoming. The house has a great layout for multiple families to enjoy the space together, while still having the ability to find privacy. The proximity to town and the beach, paired with the once in a lifetime views make this place spectacular. I highly recommend!

Casa Puros Dieces is the perfect villa in the perfect location. There is plenty of room for privacy and gathering, all with magnificent views. Relax on the day bed listening to the sounds of the coy pond, or the wonderful Sonos sound system. Arrange for a massage, or float in the infinity pool and watch the surfers in the waves. Kendi, Jessica and Jorge will ensure your stay is relaxing and luxurious. Cristina the concierge arranged our tours and reservations. We just returned from a fabulous stay at Casa Puros Dieces. The tranquil vibe and panoramic Pacific view make this spacious villa the perfect getaway spot! Christina arranged many adventures for us with easy pick up and drop off at the door. The friendly staff greeted us each morning with fresh juices, hot coffee and lots of smiles. Incredible home with incredible views. Everyone enjoyed themselves hanging out together in the pool and living area! All the excursions we went on picked us up right out front. Although the road to this house is steep, it isn’t very long. About 1/3 of a mile to the heart of the main strip and beach!

This is the greatest Airbnb we have ever stayed in for a large group. The 8 bedrooms and bathrooms afforded each couple their own private space. The dining, kitchen, and living areas are all open air. We never felt cramped, always had plenty of space and had no problem with bugs or insects. The pool is huge and the hot tub worked perfectly. The home also has an amazing outdoor daybed and massage table. We highly recommend going through the concierge, Cris, to book masseuses to come to the house for private massages. It was the most luxurious experience and very reasonably priced. Cris was also a great concierge, always working to book anything we needed and remained flexible.
The most wonderful part of our stay was interacting with the staff each morning. Jorge, Candi, and Jessica are wonderful. They took care of our rooms, cleaned the house, did our laundry when asked, and took care of groundskeeping. They also cooked breakfast for us daily and it was AMAZING!

I stayed with 14 cousins in this spacious Villa overlooking the ocean! Kendy, Jorge and Jessica took care of all our needs. They were so pleasant always asking if we needed anything. They prepared our breakfast several times while we were there. Delicious Costa Rica style! The Villa had plenty of rooms for us with large spacious bathrooms. The common area was also large with multiple sitting areas so we could roam around and mingle if we wanted but could also have space in the open to just relax. The dinner table was massive and allowed us to all sit down for our meals together. Would definitely recommend for a large group!thank you!

This property is absolutely stunning. There is so much space and the rooms are all really well designed with their own bathrooms and AC. The communal area is central and open with a big kitchen, living room and dining room all with panaromic views of the ocean and all the epic sunsets. The staff onsite was amazing as well. They were polite and so helpful. They made breakfast for us each day with groceries that we supplied. They kept the property sparkling clean every day and were so kind and fun to talk to. The hill to get to this house is quite steep. We had to downgrade our 6-seater golf cart order to 4-seaters instead due to weight capacity and the hill. But everything in town is super close within a 10 min drive or less. Very easy to get to the beaches, restaurants, bars, etc. We had a big group of 20 and we had plenty of space to spread out. It was an epic week in Tamarindo. We loved it so much.

The house was pretty much perfect. The pool was amazing, the common areas were great. Some rooms were better than others, but that was to be expected and you can get a good idea of the rooms from the listing photos.
Jorge and his team (housekeepers, groundskeepers, breakfast cooks) did an AMAZING job. I wish I could give them 100 stars. They were helpful, attentive, and friendly. I wish every airbnb I stayed at had Jorge there.

The property is extraordinary...laid out with elegant and comfortably separated accommodations for all and gathering spaces throughout. We were a party of 16, from age 1 to 88. The view and location are exceptional--a short walk into town and beach and yet a private oasis. The absolute best part was the kindness, efficiency and grace of the staff! Jorge, Kendy and Jessica did everything possible to make sure we were looked after from the moment we arrived, taking care of the place and each of us with that art that is responsive and genuine and never obtrusive. And the Stay in Tamarindo concierge service from Cristina and Adriana was brilliant in getting rental equipment lined up and in place, from gear for the baby to golf cart for Granddad. And a fabulous massage for me! The only hiccup we experienced was an alarm tripped by an animal, unfortunately on a Saturday NYE, with the house staff finished for the day and off on Sundays. In the circs it took longer than usual to get the situation resolved, but it got fixed. Highly recommend this rental!

Do yourself a favor, BOOK THIS PLACE! You won’t regret it. Hands down the best vacation experience we’ve had! From the start as soon as we booked, the guest manager Adriana reached out with very clear arrival instructions and introduced us to the concierge, Cris. She helped coordinate car rentals, shuttle pickups at the airport, dinner reservations at incredible restaurants, ballon artists, cake makers, home chefs & at-home massage therapists. She checked in constantly to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is breathtaking & the views are unmatched. Everything was clean and very comfortable to just let loose & relax. The house staff was very friendly & welcoming. No complaints other then wishing we stayed longer. We have already booked the next trip!

Myself and 7 other couples traveled from the US to meet and spend a week celebrating friendships and my 50th birthday. I was able to plan a bunch of activities from the US with Cris, the house concierge and all around fixer of any problem we had. She was awesome and helped us throughout our stay with any changes additions and surprises. The house had two wonderful ladies who made us breakfast every morning and the house manager Jorge who took care of the property and any issues we had. The infinity pool was a most unbelievable place to watch the sun set every evening and the open covered room was a optimal spot for us to hangout. They also had a nice long table for dinners as we had a local chef cook us delicious meals including all of the Mahi Mahi we caught on our deep sea fishing outing. We rented two golf carts and used them to get down into town quickly and easily. We scheduled multiple excursions with Cris before hand and they all went off without a hitch. This was truly one of the best vacations with friends we have ever had and would highly recommend staying here and working closely with Cris to plan an awesome time. Pura Vida!

We had a wonderful stay with 6 couples! The house was perfect and spacious - we were able to have privacy but spend time together in the common areas when we wanted.
The staff at the house made us comfortable each day and made sure we had everything we needed! They were helpful but not invasive at all. Breakfast was great too and prepared for us daily - we just provided groceries! They arrived around 7am daily. We rented golf carts and they were definitely needed for the hill to the house and riding around town.
Cris and Adriana were so easy to communicate with before and during our stay. They arranged the airport transportation, excursions and golf cart rentals for us. They checked in to make sure everything was going well several times. I can’t say enough about the service and the stay. Amazing and we would definitely come back!

Perfect! This was my second time in Tamarindo. My experience with this location and the "Stay Tamarindo" staff was simply amazing! The layout of this compound was really cool. The pool and hot tub were amazing.

The staff at Casa Puro Dieces were amazing! Photos do not do the property justice. It felt like a mini resort.
Cris was super communicative and handled all of my questions and changes with quickness and grace. Jorge, Candy, and Jessica on site were great. They were super nice and Jorge handled any issues that arose. One of the bathrooms had some toilet issues and Jorge did his best to fix it. The gate broke and Jorge got it fixed within hours. The food that Jessica and Candy cooked was fabulous. They made breakfast every morning and they did a dinner for us that was authentic Costa Rican.
The views were unreal. Some of the best sunsets I've ever seen!
A few things that could have been better:
- Better curtains in the rooms, they were too see-through.
- Stronger wifi, the villa accommodates up to 16. we had a total of 11 and the first day the wifi was perfect it was only 4 of us, but as the days went on and we all were there the wifi was not working for parts of the day.
- Better lighting. Some of the rooms the lighting was very dim and made it hard to get dressed at night. And the dining table had no lights at all so it made it difficult to eat at night.
- There was only 1 tv in the master bedroom. Would have been nice to be able to enjoy a movie as a group in the living area
Overall, we had a great time! Thank you so much to the staff for making our stay unforgettable.

If this it the location you are considering, just do it. The property is beautiful and the staff is SUPER nice. We had 18 ppl in our group; 16 adults / teens, 2 kids (5 & 7). The layout was the best. The open community space worked great for us. The bedrooms felt private, when you needed a break. Jessica, Kendy & Jorge cooked breakfast for us every morning, sans Sunday. They always put out an amazing spread. Definitely have them cook a local Costa Rican breakfast, it was the best (we had huevos rancheros)! They were always there when you needed them but remained not intrusive. The house is located on a pretty steep, non-paved hill. and to get in to the driveway, it is also a very steep incline. Gas golf carts worked pretty well. Make sure they can make it up the hill. We had to walk up twice b/c something was wrong with the golf cart we had and it kept "stalling" out when we got to the steep incline. Golf cart rental place was great about replacing it when we asked. One note; for the people looking to stay on the upper floor - the hut looking room, you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to the half bath and the shower is located right next to the massage table. Stay in Tamarindo concierge were great at helping us schedule transport & excursions and were very responsive; from the time we booked to our last day there! They definitely made our time in Costa Rica much easier & pleasant.

If this it the location you are considering, just do it. The property is beautiful and the staff is SUPER nice. We had 18 ppl in our group; 16 adults / teens, 2 kids (5 & 7). The layout was the best. The open community space worked great for us. The bedrooms felt private, when you needed a break. Jessica, Kendy & Jorge cooked breakfast for us every morning, sans Sunday. They always put out an amazing spread. Definitely have them cook a local Costa Rican breakfast, it was the best (we had huevos rancheros)! The staff is amazing and very eager to make sure your stay is the best possible. I loved the indoor/outdoor living, and the view is breathtaking! You definitely need a golf cart to get around. The activities offered by the "concierge service" are great because all of them will pick you up directly from the house so need to worry. I would definitely come back!

Casa Puros Dieces is an absolute gem. From the house, to the location, to the staff who comes by every morning to cook breakfast, straighten up, wash towels, etc. (and will even do your laundry if you ask), to the concierge and team at Stay in Tamarindo who helped coordinate and execute all of our excursions... everything was amazing. The house is set up to where it is easy to all be together in a large group but also is equally easy to spread out and have your own space. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the infinity pool, daily. You can walk down to all of the shops/restaurants/bars in the Tamarindo beach area, but the hill to get into town is steep so the way down isn't difficult but the walk back up is a work out! A golf cart rental is a super easy fix for those who wouldn't be comfortable with the walk up. I would recommend Casa Puros Deices to anyone traveling to the area and would absolutely stay here again!!

Our stay at Casa Puros Dieces was nothing short of incredible. The house is amazing and perfectly situated for a large group to spend time together or have moments to yourself. It is a tropical oasis safely tucked away in the hills of Tamarindo with incredible sunsets and views over Tamarindo Bay.
It is accessible by foot to the Tamarindo Beach area, although the walk back up the hill to the house is a workout! We rented one golf cart for those who were more comfortable getting around this way.
The staff who came by each morning were delightful. They tidied up, washed and folded towels (and our laundry if requested), made breakfast and cleaned rooms if we wanted that. While they were there for a few hours each day, unless we needed something, we hardly knew they were there.
The responsiveness of everyone involved at Stay in Tamarindo is was impressive and everyone went above and beyond to make this a wonderful trip. I definitely would stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to the area!

Myself and a group of 16 others stayed in this house and had a wonderful stay. The views were beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly. The concierge also helped us to set up great activities (our personal favorite was the boat ride!). Things to note: Most of the bathrooms are open so you may see some critters (bugs/geckos) which was really the main area of discomfort. Some rooms also had some hot water issues in the showers, but Jorge helped us out there! Aside from that, the house is what we expected and then some. The rooms had AC/fans to keep cool, the staff regularly cleaned the premises, and the host/concierge checked in to make sure we were alright. The location was also close to a lot of restaurants, including Agua Salada which we all loved. Thanks to the team for allowing us to enjoy Tamarindo!

Expect a wonderful indoor/ outdoor vacation experience! Views can't be beat, rooms are comfortable and spacious, and staff is amazing. Ask the host for a picture of the gate from the outside as it was very difficult to find the first time as GPS leads you to the wrong address. The hill isn't a pleasant walk to restaurants, etc, but a 5 min drive from a lot of fun places!

The styling and layout of this home far exceeds the photographs and description. The privacy and flow of the home and courtyard is exquisite and incredibly unique. Every room is well appointed, comfortable, and private. This home easily accommodates 8 couples or 2-3 large families. We were 2 families with 5 mostly teens between the two couples. The kitchens are well equipped with everything you could need., and 2 full size refrigerators with ice makers a huge plus. The dining table is perfect for large meals. The location to town is fantastic, and walkable if you can handle traversing up a steep drive. We walked everywhere. The patio and living room views, especially of the sunset, are truly remarkable. The house staff are wonderful, kind, and super helpful, though my only knock on the property is we wished we could have had the option to not have the staff daily. Every other day would have been a better arrangement. But absolutely best of all for this property is the management team. Cristina, Adriana and Melanie are fantastic - exceptional communication, on top of everything, super responsive, and their activity recommendations and booking services wonderful. The best team I’ve ever worked with for a vacation. My only constructive comment other than the house staff schedule mentioned above - several of the showers’ water controls were in need of repair making temp control or even operation challenging. Everything else is world class.

From the time of booking, to the weeks before arrival and all the while we were in the home, the team's communication was incredible and like nothing I've experienced before. We rented this home to host our wedding with our family and friends and could not have been more happy about choosing this spot. The rooms were all very spacious for our guests and the common areas were great for the festivities and family style meals. The home is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, breweries and bars, but the bill is pretty steep (being on a hill though make the views amazing). There are also lots of monkeys and birds to watch. Needless to say, it was a huge success and the wedding group is already talking about future visits.

We had a large group and used all 8 bedrooms. The house is laid out in such a way that we could be alone easily or hang out with the others.
The bedrooms were all very good but the star of the house has to be the negative edge pool and the public spaces. We loved it all.

This place was spectacular. Insane house. The people working their (Jorge and the two cleaning ladies were such a pleasure). Overall it was insane but the owner is extremely strict on how many people can stay at the house. I would strongly suggest on getting pre-approval on any guests that you want to visit the house. We were able to find an agreement on a few guests but we weren’t expecting this to be an issue. Again, overall amazing house.

The pool is amazing for just relaxing, but large enough to exercise and swim laps - truly felt like our own little resort all to ourselves. Casa Puros Dieces is a beautiful property. The common areas are outstanding with a gorgeous pool, great ocean views facing west for perfect sunsets, and a lovely courtyard and palapa. The location is very convenient to get into town. You can walk in about 5-10 minutes, just be prepared for a steep hill that is pitch black at night. Be sure to rent a 4x4 as the road is both steep and heavily potholed. The staff are very attentive and conscientious, and the host is immediately responsive at all hours.

I planned a trip to Tamarindo for a group of 17 people in early 2020. When I first found Casa Puros Dieces online, I was worried it was too good to be true, but after extensive internet research, everything seemed legitimate, so we went ahead and booked! Fast forward to the travel a few months later, I was still a little nervous that somehow this amazing property wasn't for real, but everything went very smoothly - from transportation to the activities, the cooks who came to the house, and the beautiful house itself. I could not recommend this property more - it was truly amazing. The communal spaces were great, and everyone had their own private rooms, which made a large group trip feel much more relaxed. Some of our group did activities each day, organized by the concierge, and they were all wonderful. The highlight was probably the private catamaran tour, which was expensive, but a truly special experience. I planned a trip to Tamarindo for a group of 17 people in early 2020. When I first found Casa Puros Dieces online, I was worried it was too good to be true, but after extensive internet research, everything seemed legitimate, so we went ahead and booked! Fast forward to the travel a few months later, I was still a little nervous that somehow this amazing property wasn't for real, but everything went very smoothly - from transportation to the activities, the cooks who came to the house, and the beautiful house itself. I could not recommend this property more - it was truly amazing. The communal spaces were great, and everyone had their own private rooms, which made a large group trip feel much more relaxed. Some of our group did activities each day, organized by the concierge, and they were all wonderful. The highlight was probably the private catamaran tour, which was expensive, but a truly special experience. I took my entire company on a retreat to this house and it was perfect. Tons of space, very well maintained and the staff was fantastic and friendly. It’s up a VERY steep hill which was a little tough but was fine for us since we were a group of young, fit people. The house was more beautiful than i expected, we were thrilled and I highly recommend this house! Excited to come back one day.

This home is every bit as amazing as it looks in the photos. We were a large group of friends and really enjoyed being able to all stay in one home while still having space to ourselves when needed with the numerous rooms. Hands down the most amazing pool/view I’ve ever seen! Can’t recommend the location enough either as it was so convenient to walk into town and the beach. The house turtle was also such a fun touch!!

Each room has a private bath (one room has a bath that is in an open area but the view made up for the walk to the bathroom). There is a day staff that speaks little english but are very helpful. Get your golf carts reserved before you get there, they sold out and it is a hike up to this house. Also, bring some extra face clothes and towels as they are limited in the home. We would definitely stay again. This was a dream home! Stayintamarindo was a good company to work with as well.

Everyone has their own private space (very unique bathrooms) but the open air areas are great for everyone to hang out together. The staff made the trip even more wonderful! Two housekeepers and two house boys would keep everything clean, they would do as little or as much as you asked. Only one speaks fluent English but he was always happy to translate. The night guard is also super nice. The house is on a steep dirt road so I would recommend renting golf carts. It isn’t a far walk into town but we caved on day two and rented golf carts (they are reasonable to rent). Golf carts also make it easy to go to the local grocery store (just a couple min ride on the cart). WiFi worked well. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could

The house exceeded our expectations and we all had an amazing time. There was help during the day to change your sheets or help with laundry if needed. There was a guard at night just for extra piece of mind. We loved it so much and would come back again in a heartbeat. The only disclaimer is that the road is not far to the beach, but it is unpacked and a little steep. Get a car or know your legs are going to be in better shape than when you got there! We walked up and down multiple times a day, but wouldn’t be good with kids or someone with a disability; wheels would be good! The pool and hanging areas were AMAZING! If your consider staying, you should. Pura Vida!

All of the rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds and furniture were comfortable. Our visit was during rainy season, and the open living area allowed us to enjoy meals and relaxation while we enjoyed listening to and watching the rain. It only rained for a few hours each day, which allowed us to have quality time both inside and out. Lastly, the house staff was very welcoming, kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking into Costa Rica. Pura vida!

Fantastic Villa, perfect for large families and groups. Concierge service was top notch dealing with Cristina and Adriana. They set up a private fishing excursion, sailing and snorkeling, as well as surf lessons. We even had a chef and his staff come in and prepare a few dinners and breakfast each morning. The cleaning staff and security were also great. They went above and beyond and even did laundry while we were out.

We are from Los Angeles and had our destination wedding at Casa Puros Dieces. It was the perfect place for 12 of us to stay for the week to relax, bond, and have our dream wedding. The house is so unique with all of the outdoor common areas and the awesome infinity pool overlooking the ocean for those spectacular Costa Rican sunsets. The house was the perfect setting for our intimate wedding ceremony and reception. Danny, Dinorah and the rest of the full time in-house staff were incredible. They kept the whole house spotless every single day we were there. The staff at Stay in Tamarindo, especially Adriana and Cristina were so helpful during the entire planning process. We communicated via email and they helped make our experience unforgettable. The house is in a great location, safe, quiet, and just a short walk down the hill to the beach and into town to the surf shops, bars, and restaurants. We rented a couple golf carts for easy access to and from the house. The house is on a steep dirt road so a car, taxi, or golf cart to/from the house is recommended, especially at night. Outdoor kitchen and living rooms right off the pool was great. Two refrigerators and all the cooking utensils you could ask for. The pool is gorgeous and we had a family of monkeys visit us one day just 10 feet away in the trees. There is also a full staff that we were not expecting but were very happy to have. Two ladies cleaned for us for 5-6 hours per day, a handy man was there to fix anything we needed and a security guard sat out front all night. They were all very nice and we hardly noticed them working around the house. The hot tub was not working the first two days but they were able to get it fixed for the second two nights we were there. No big deal at all. Just can't say enough about this place and how much we enjoyed it.

The views are beautiful and our accommodation was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating and we felt very well looked after. The property felt a lot bigger than we were expecting from the photos which meant that it was easy to find somewhere to chill out, even when the kids were playing in the pool. One thing to note is that there are a lot of stairs and slopes between the rooms so this might not be suitable for less mobile guests. There is also a steep hill to climb to reach the house, but we had no issues getting taxis to pick us up.

We came to Costa Rica for my fathers 60th birthday and it exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect, just outside of town and easy to walk to the beach. The layout was great for our family, with separate room suites all over the house. With it's balinese style architecture and furnishing it gives a tropical vibe that helped us relax as soon as we walked in. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 20 came to stay in August, the beginning of green season, which was no problem as it only rained 30 min/ day. The property is gorgeous and clean. It's also the biggest villa in Tamarindo that can house this many people under one roof. All the bedrooms have A/C, an indoor/outdoor shower, and a view! The kitchen was substantial, we cooked there everyday and bought food from the local market. We swam in the pool everyday and used the hot tub every night. The house staff felt like family, they were easy to talk to and helped us with whatever we needed. They even gave me a parting gift, which is hanging right now in my house! The staff leaves at 4pm and a night guard comes from 5pm - 5am every night, although he is optional. We held our wedding ceremony on the lawn of the property and every picture we took had an amazing background. The location is perfect although I suggest you rent a golf cart because the hill to the villa is not paved and very steep. But for our guests without carts or cars, were still able to walk up and down from the house to the main road, 10 min walk. Remember to bring SPF, bug spray, and US dollars in small bills. We did the All-day Adventure Tour, Deep Sea Fishing, and Sunset Catamaran Tour. And from the beach across the street we caught a Horseback Riding Excursion that goes along the beach and to the top of the mountain. I hope that we can come back to this magical place. It really is as beautiful as it is in the pictures. Bravo Casa Puros Dieces! You have made me feel like a hero to my family. They can't stop talking about their vacation in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!!

Talk about a small piece of heaven right there in Tamarindo! If this gorgeous house with picturesque views, open floor plan, beautiful wood floors and all the amenities a Kardashian would expect isn't enough, then the in-house staff will top it all off. Chris, Denora, Jorge and Jessica know just how to make you feel at home. They are constantly working quietly in the background to make sure the house is sparkling clean so you can truly relax and enjoy your stay. This house is conveniently walking distance from the quaint little beach town with all the shops and food you would expect. Bottom line, this place is everything you could possibly want and MORE for that unforgettable get away.

The staff was amazing, as many others have said. I never thought it would be possible to say this but the pictures don't do the home justice.The sunsets were stunning. The home has such a unique layout - it truly has 8 separate bedrooms to accommodate large groups. Many of the bathrooms have some sort of an open air feel... showering al fresco is one of the best things after a long day of surfing. It truly is only a 5 minute walk down the hill - another five to Witches Rock surf camp! We are already planning our next trip back!

Of coarse looking at the pictures of the house it is beautiful but I can honestly say that the pictures did not truly do it justice. On our way to the house I would have been happy if the house was half as good as the pictures but it was even better in person. Now that we got the obvious out of the way, what really completed the experience for us was the people involved in the house from start to finish. I would like to especially thank Denora, Jessica and Jorge who in my opinion where top notch in what they do. Everyone in our group felt as I do about these people behind the scenes. The house was always clean and they did it with a smile and non-intrusive. We for sure did some activities outside the house but we found ourselves hanging at the house more than we thought we would because it was just so nice that it felt great to be there.

Stay in Tamarindo staff

We had 18 people stay in the villa for 5 days and it was incredible. All of the 8 bedrooms except one had attached bathrooms (of note, many of these are indoor/outdoor bathrooms). The location of the villa was on top of a hill (which is why the views are so amazing)- but it wasn't too challenging to walk down or up to head to downtown Tamarindo. Some of our other guests stayed in Casa Leo Loco which was further up the hill so had a great view but may be more challenging to walk down/up. The staff was always around during the day cleaning the villa and it was spotless while we were there! The house manager Chris would also check in with us daily and was helpful with any issues or questions we had. In addition, we had lots of questions from our guests before and the Stay at Tamarindo team was very responsive to all of our questions. For a wedding venue, we couldn't have asked for anything better. All of our guests were very impressed. We had our wedding ceremony on the rooftop and the reception dinner in the garden area. Would highly recommend this villa and we hope to be able to return at some point. The only small suggestion we would have is to include the cost of the security guard in the villa price if it is required to have the security guard watching the home every night.

The expansive and open common area between the rooms, topped by the infinity pool with a spectacular ocean view, provided the best possible environment for everyone to relax, read, swim, eat, or just gaze at the beautiful sunsets. The house was spacious and well-equipped, the kitchen and dining areas were roomy. The staff that cleaned the house daily were extremely helpful and nice. Tamarindo and its beach were a ten-minute walk down the hill, and we could walk into town but still feel away from it all in our hillside paradise. Chris, the house manager, was superb, arriving every day to look in on us and solve any technical problems in the house, and he always had helpful advice on places to see and things to do in the area. In short, an outstanding vacation destination.

The road up to the house is pretty steep, but we walked to town every day with no problems (5 min walk), I do recommend renting an ATV to get around town faster. About 17 of us stayed at Casa Puros Dieces and the rest of guest around Tamarindo. Every single one of our 39 wedding guest adored the house and ended us spending a lot of time there with us. The views and architecture are fascinating. The manager Chris is extremely kind and helpful as well as the two maids and gardener! We held our ceremony on the deck by the pool and it was a dream! Everything was perfect! This is an indoor outdoor home, like a lot of homes in Costa Rica, so mostly everything is technically outside except for the bedrooms (which are air conditioned well) and two bathrooms (the rest of the bathrooms are outdoors but are private). At first I wasn't fond of this design but as the days past I wouldn't have had it any other way. This was my second time in Tamarindo and now I don't want to go back unless it's in this house! My family and I will never forget the memories made at Casa Puros Dieces!

We comfortably had 16 of our friends and family staying with us, and hosted dinner/events for 60 without any crowding. The pictures truly do not display the beauty and quality of the home. The staff went above and beyond what we expected, and made everyone feel welcome, safe and comfortable. There were even a number of friendly iguana house-pets to keep you company in the sun! The only comment would be the location and condition of the dirt road leading up to the house. Although it is only a 5-7 minute walk to the beach, the road is a VERY rough dirt road that is quite a steep climb, and not lit at night. It makes the view one of a kind, however should be respected by older folks. Five-stars, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was by far the best family vacation we've ever had! The home is unreal. Amazing! We were there with our family of four boys ages 4-7, another family with 3 kids ages 7-11 and my sister and her two older children. There was more than enough space for everyone and all of the bedrooms are spread out throughout the property, but all are connected via covered wood walkways or stairs. The living room, dining room and kitchen are completely open - meaning there are no walls, but there are ceilings. It was warm during the day, but comfortable because there was always a beautiful breeze - and no bugs or humidity! All of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms and showers and all have air conditioning and doors making them very private. There is a small man made pond in the middle area of the home with a grassy area big enough to kick a soccer ball around. The pond has 2 huge turtles (about 18 inches long), koi, goldfish and big algae eating catfish-like fish. The kids loved it. You can walk to the town or beach (10mins down a steep hill) but we usually drove. We would drive to a different beach every day around 3pm and swim and then have dinner and watch the sunset. It was awesome. We loved Flamingo Beach the best, which is about a 30 minute drive. We rented a car at the airport and kept it for the week. The ride from the airport is a bit bumpy, but easy (about an hour). There is a big supermarket about 3 minutes drive from the home which sells beer and liquor too. There were two wonderful cleaning ladies that came every day and cleaned everything. They were fantastic. Plus the property manager Chistophe (he's French) checked in every morning which was nice, because he could take care of everything that may have happened overnight (little things like the pool filter stopping or the A/C making noises). Totally not intrusive, just really helpful.

The pictures on VRBO make the place look great but really don't do it justice. We were a group 6 of families with 21 people (yes, twenty-one people) and there was room for everyone: room in the pool, room for quiet get-away spots to read by yourself, room to sun on the deck, room for the group to gather all together for meals, lots of room! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, each with their own bathroom. The house staff were friendly and hard working. House manager Chris was very helpful with suggestions and arrangements for restaurants and activities. The villa was an easy walk into town for shopping or dining, or to the beach for surfing or relaxing. Tamarindo is well-located to get you all sorts of fun day-trips like zip-lining, ATVing, or river tours. Before we arrived, the staff connected us with the necessary airport transfers and also activities with outstanding guides. Everyone in our group loved Costa Rica, loved Tamarindo, but especially loved Casa Puros Dieces. I would highly recommend staying at Casa Puros Dieces to anyone considering the Tamarindo experience.

The one thing I wish we knew was that the house is located 400 meters from the Main Street indeed but up a very steep hill will no paving. This made leaving with my elderly mom and toddlers in strollers very difficult. Had we known, we would have rented a vehicle for the week ahead of time and left the strollers at home. Other than that, perfect!

The villa itself is incredibly spacious, with a fantastic view of the ocean, a beautiful infinity pool, and very comfortable lounges and chairs arranged across a first rate courtyard. The staff kept the property clean and well-cared for. It's a bit of a hike up a hill from the town, but this wasn't a problem for us, as we enjoyed walking (and it's only a 5 minute walk up the hill - very doable). Very very close to a great beach and great facilities in Tamarindo. Very nice kitchen space as well. Strongly recommend this house - you won't regret it! Enjoy your stay.

I have nothing but good things to say about this house. The pool was AMAZING, the temperature was perfect!! After a long day at the beach or cruising around, all 20 of our crew would run up the hill and jump in the pool! We all loved the "living room" and we each had our own space as well. The rooms are all so nice. I stayed in the lower level room on the first left. All the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would love to come back and recommend it to anyone!

This house is absolutely stunning. Our group of 13 were amazed by the architecture, views, and size of the property. Everyone had plenty of room. The onsite staff includes 2 maids, a maintenance man, and optional security guard that was on the property from 7pm-7am.. all were very friendly and helpful. Nora cooked breakfast one morning and it was exceptional. Chris, the property manager, will make sure your stay is stress free. We even had his wife (a professional masseuse) come to the house one afternoon and give massages which we highly recommend. We cant wait to return next year!
