Casa Moderna

This was our first time in CR. It was beyond our expectations! Renzo our host was very responsive. Had great recommendations and literally from the minute we landed until we left, every detail was met. The house was beautiful and the resort even better. Definitely going back next year.

Location and house are both stunning! Our family had an amazing time both at the beach club and at the house. Each room having its own bathroom was a huge plus for the entire group as well. I would high recommend getting a golf cart for your group as it's much easier to get to/from the beach. Hope to come again, and highly recommended!

Check in was walking into front door, could not have been easier. Property and the lovely housekeeper were perfect. We enjoyed the resort property and restaurants but ventured out quite a bit as well. Property is close to sailing, fishing surfing, shopping and hiking. Highly recommend getting golf cart or car rental. Great house and great management.

We loved our stay at Casa Moderna!! From the very start of our reservation to our very last day, it was great. Renzo was great at communicating and answering all of my questions leading up to our trip. Then, when we were there he was always quick to respond and answering questions. Isabelle, our house person, was incredible. She was so kind and helpful. She prepared amazing breakfast, snacks, and drinks for us. Our house was always kept tidy. Both she and Renzo made our stay in Playa Conchal perfect! We would definitely come back.

Just left Casa Moderna in Playa Conchal. We had the best time!! The house is exactly as the pictures and description represent. We traveled with my parents who use walkers and canes. The floor plan of the house made accessibility very easy for them. House’s open floor plan was plea ty of room for our group of eight. Isabel, the house keeper and cook, was wonderful!! She was very accommodating and provided us with everything we needed. We had homemade drinks every afternoon. She had fresh guacamole and pico each day for us. She is so sweet and was able to provide us everything we needed. Renzo, the property manager, was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. Thanks to Renzo’s advice, we had a golf cart waiting for us and found a chef that came in two evenings during our stay. The home is in a gated community which is a part of a beautiful private reserve. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be returning.

From the initial booking and communication with Renzo about all we needed to know, to booking excursions with Stay in Tamarindo and the amazing team, our stay at Casa Moderna was fantastic! Traveling with kids can be challenging, but Renzo and Isa made it one of the best vacations ever. The house was in a great spot and came fully stocked. Isa kept the home clean and did laundry and offered to cook every morning, truly an escape with top notch service. There was more than enough space for 8 of us and the lounging by the pool was our go-to. We cannot recommend Casa Moderna enough and are already planning a return trip. Pura Vida! Lovely property and service. Renzo was an excellent host who helped our group with anything we could ask for. The property was as advertised, large, safe and clean. Isabel was the highlight of every bodies morning. She was so lovely, cooked amazing breakfast and helped us learn how to make some Costa Rican food. Would highly recommend this rental.

Renzo, the concierge, was responsive and helped with reservations. He helped arrange for an in-house chef. The checkin was seemless. The property is clean and situated in a gated community. Two primary suites. Quiet neighborhood. The property is in close proximity to the beach but not walking. There is a shuttle. You can drive. We drove and opted not to rent a golf cart. Access to the beach club is included. Isabela, the housekeeper, was excellent. The house was cleaned daily, and she cooked made to order breakfasts. Would recommend. Would return.

Everything was as advertised! Renzo was extremely helpful getting us prepared for our trip and had very useful hints. Izabel was so friendly, such a great cook and it was such a wonderful feeling to come back to a clean house every day. Ask her to make a traditional Costa Rican breakfast, one of our favorite meals when we were there!

Renzo provided superior service from the initial booking until the day we departed. He arranged a rental car and golf carts which were delivered to our home. He made dinner reservations and arranged for tours before arriving and during our vacation. He was very attentive to our needs and answered all inquiries in a timely manner. Additionally Isabelle the housekeeper was amazing. She prepared wonderful breakfasts and kept the property immaculate. Casa Moderna was a beautiful property and working with Renzo and Isabelle realty made our trip enjoyable. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable.

My stay in Tamarindo was amazing. We had a group of 10 and everyone felt so comfortable. The home was clean and location was great. The pool was heated and felt great! Everything exceeded my expectations. We had minor issues but the team was able to come and fix it promptly. Our favorite part was having free access to the beach and golf club!

My family and I had a great time in Reserva Conchal and casa moderna. The property is really comfortable and can easily accommodate large groups.
Stay in Tamarindo is really responsive and super easy to deal with. This property is highly recommended!

Stay in Tamarindo staff

The pictures do not do this place any justice! The house is perfect for your stay in Costa Rica. My friends and I stayed here for my birthday trip and it exceeded my expectations. The house is secure and private but even if you don’t want to explore town you can either lounge by the pool all day or go down to the beach within the community. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and remained in contact throughout our entire stay! Will definitely be back!

I recently stayed in Casa Moderna with my husband and another couple. We loved the house and our maid Isabel! The location is great however i recommend you have a car to be able to get around (beach, groc store, restaurants…)
Unfortunately there was some loud construction nextdoor but this was disclosed in the booking and so it wasnt a surprise, we knew what we were getting into.
Overall we had a great experience, loved the house and Costa Rica!
