You have several beach access points from this property; however, across the street, at 0.4 miles (700 m) walking distance, from the gated community that includes Casa Lomas del Mar, is Pangas Restaurant, a delightful Guanacaste fusion bar/restaurant set in the sand where the estuary meets the ocean. You can access the beach from here during working hours and make this your starting point for walks along the beach into the town of Tamarindo where you will experience the energy of this lively beach town.

Wonderful!
We had the good fortune of staying in this beautiful home for a week just as the rainy season ended. The location is fabulous! You can walk into Tamarindo and to the many beaches and restaurants. The view from the home is gorgeous from any of the many outdoor seating areas. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. Each bedroom has a king bed and ensuite. Cindy was a great help each day with cleaning, breakfast and snacks for later in the day. The infinity pool was a great place to relax any time of day. The sunset with a refreshing cocktail was a delightful way to end a busy day before going to dinner at one of the many fantastic restaurants. Exceptional in every aspect.
Without a doubt our stay at Casa Lomas Del Mar in Tamarindo was exceptional in every aspect. The home was just as stunning as the pictures promised- private, peaceful, and offering breathtaking taking views of the ocean and sunsets. It had all the amenities needed for a wonderful vacation including a fantastic pool and a location that offered great beaches, restaurants, shops, and activities in Tamarindo. Spectacular!!
The stunning views are one of the highlights of this beautiful house! Close to shopping, nightlife, restaurants and the beach, are all just down the hill a quick 10 minute walk. The pool was gorgeous and perfect temperature with the most amazing views day and night! Cindy made us breakfast daily and was available for us whenever needed, she even cried when we left ❤️ The accommodations were second to none, beds comfortable, showers for every room was a bonus. With all of this combined with the perfect weather made this vacation one of our best ever. Spectacular!!
This beautiful home was a 10/10!! The views alone were second to none and made it hard to want to leave to go to the beach! Everything is close, shopping, restaurants and the beach. 5 STAR stay in Tamarindo at Casa Lomas del Mar
We had the most incredible week at Casa Lomas del Mar that exceeded any expectations we had! The ocean views are incredible during the day and the sunsets never disappoint. Each bedroom is beautifully and practically designed to make you feel entirely at home. The main areas of the house are open and welcoming so that a large group of 8 adults could easily each have their own space to relax and enjoy themselves. I can't say enough about the infinity pool - perfect size and view!! The outdoor space is a combination of lounge chairs, outdoor couches and covered space that pleases anyone looking for either sun or shade. We loved being so close to town and enjoyed many meals out at the local restaurants and a variety of excursions like boat tours, shopping, beach walks and markets. 5 stars is not enough!
Amazing home in an equally amazing location! Spectacular and unique views of the ocean and the Estuary -- morning, noon, sunset, and night. Spacious living areas, beautiful infinity pool, plenty of privacy, large outdoor area for lounging and entertaining and taking in the magnificent views and enjoying the occasional monkeys traversing the trees. Excellent Place to Stay
This house was amazing. The view from the pool was spectacular. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The concierge was fabulous. When we went, we did not need bug spray- I noticed several people posting this but there weren't any bugs. The monkeys stopped by for a visit. We were a group of 8 in our 50-60's and the hill wasn't a concern to walk (and I'm not in great shape). We'd head into town for the morning, spend the afternoons in the pool and into town for dinner. This wonderful home has 4 luxurious bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The views and amenities are spectacular. The house is open concept with fabulous kitchen and infinity pool. Most amazing vacation home!!
The most amazing home to stay at! The sunsets were spectacular and there were views from every room in the house! The pool was perfect to cool off in and the outdoor shower allowed you to rinse off outside if you were at the beach. The house had everything we needed and more. Cristina was fantastic in helping to organize tours and groceries! Location was perfect, easy access to beach, and restaurants. Spectacular!!!
If you are looking for a well appointed home with stunning views, a great pool and open, gathering spaces inside and out.... you've found it! This spacious home offers a fantastic layout with four bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom. The views are panoramic and absolutely spectacular. We spent most of our time on the outdoor patios (there are several) and in the infinite pool, The sunset views over the ocean are beautiful. This home is well located. The beach, shops and restaurants are all within a two - five minute drive. The howler monkeys came swinging through the trees several times during our stay, which was neat to see. Stunning 5 Star
Beautiful house and location with a fantastic Ocean view. Very Clean with all the amenities. Comfortably slept 8 people. Sunsets are spectacular. The infinity pool was icing on the cake. Living Like the Rich and Famous
My husband and I spent a week at Casa Lomas del Mar with 3 other couples. The house is gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful. It is located in a gated community in Tamarindo. We enjoyed the many spectacular views, jumping the waves, and shopping. Our favourite view was the day that a large group of howler monkeys visited the property for the day. We ventured out on the town every night to many different restaurants which were all a different experience. Tamarindo offered fine dining on the beach at Pangas and in town at Dragonfly. If you are looking for fantastic food as well as drinks, I strongly recommend the Hidden Garden restaurant. If you are looking for a more casual night out that offers good fish tacos and live entertainment, I suggest that you make your way to Longboards. This is an incredible house, location and views. The pool, the kitchen, the king size beds and ensuite absolutely exceed all expectations. I could definitely get used to living like this. Howler monkeys graced us with their presence one entire day and we enjoyed sitting in the pool watching them. An experience vacationers spend good money to have. The hill walk is not to be forgotten, but the dining option and downtown is well worth the effort. Definitely on my list to return to. Amazing home with a spectacular view from sunrise while listening to all the birds to enjoying the sunset with incredible views each and every day. This property comfortably fits four couples and has a great kitchen as well as an infinity pool that is second to none. Stunning House/Great Views/Fabulous Pool
This is my 4th time staying here. The privacy, the pool, the views, and the stunning house are beyond compare. One day, we had over 15 howler monkeys right outside the front door for hours- including 3 little babies. This is the only place I will stay when I am in Tamarindo. This property is amazing! Our favorite vacation destination. Not out 1st time and hopefully not our last. The views are stunning and so peaceful. Accommodations are over the top!
