Perfect place in Tamarindo for a big (fun!) group. Definitely rent the golf carts -- they are perfect for getting to the beach and back. The beach club we had access to was the best on the beach.

This is a very comfortable property. We loved its proximity to town. Renting golf carts is a must. The added benefit of concierge service was amazing. Our concierge Adriana was fabulous. And the daily breakfast and light housekeeping made our stay a true vacation.

Everything about the experience was excellent. The property is beautiful (exactly as depicted). Very clean, spacious and modern. The concierge assisted us in planning some great adventures. The daily breakfast prep was a nice touch as well. We would definitely return in the future.

We stayed at Casa Howler with our two children and another family with a child (all under 5). This house could easily fit another couple with a young child. First, Adriana was our concierge and was beyond helpful and responsive. She helped arrange transport, a spa day and an excursion that was age appropriate for our littles. She also got us in touch with a private chef that came in to make us dinner- don’t miss this! Pamela was our housekeeper who also made breakfast, lunch and snacks. She was so gracious and unimposing. The house has all the amenities you can think of and is brand new. It’s a quick walk into town- exactly .5 miles and is near a grocery store and an awesome food truck park. It also includes access to a beach club that has a small gym - make a reservation for the gym as it is very busy and doesn’t open till 8. We will absolutely be back!

We recently stayed at Casa Howler in June and had an amazing experience! Once we drove up, Adriana (the property manager) met us at the house to show us around and explain the amenities which was such a warm welcome! The house is stunning and is well-stocked! We were able to have all our breakfasts and dinners at the house with all the necessary kitchen accessories available! There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone in our party of 6 to be comfortable! Pamela was a gem! She was so pleasant and helped keep the house clean and even made an amazing Costa Rican breakfast for us one day! This was such a great find and I would love to visit again!

The Casa Howler house was amazing - absolutely stunning and very spacious! The layout was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults and 3 teen boys) with 2 bedrooms in the house for the teens and detached upper level and lower level units for the adults. Casa Howler was clean, well stocked and had comfortable beds. The pool and back patio were a hit as well! And, the service was equally amazing! Adriana was extremely responsive and accommodating, as was Pamela who would have cleaned the house, cooked breakfast/made drinks and even would have done laundry for us every day but unfortunately we figured that out toward the end of our stay. I highly recommend you stay at Casa Howler if your traveling to Tamarindo.

First off the house was spacious and very comfortable. They outdoor casitas were fun for our teenagers, however they were hard to understand the locks and made us parents a little uneasy at first until Adriana sent a video on how to work them from the inside. They are doing a ton of construction in tamarindo for houses and resorts, and our location seemed to be on the middle of it, but you could hear nothing from inside the house and even being outside the noise was not annoying and it was not an eye sore. The vegetation cut down the noise and the site on the construction. Pamela was our chef and house cleaner. She doesn’t speak any English, but she was fantastic. Google helps those conversations. For those of you thinking tamarindo is secluded and not touristy—not the case. It was busy and it’s expensive. We took complete advantage of the beach club that comes with the rental of the house and it was great. Beautiful and the beach was never busy or crowded to feel like we were on top of others. Overall it was a great vacation.

Everything was as described. I’m glad we rented a vehicle. The walk to town was much farther than described on a dirt road. I would not have liked to walk it in the humidity. The AC unit in casita 1 (first floor) went out and Adriana was super responsive and offered to get it fixed in 30 minutes. The staff made breakfast every morning with the groceries provided. It was a great experience!

The entire experience was very positive for our group. Wow, what an incredible stay! This home exceeded all expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need. La casa esta muy bonita y con espacios abiertos muy padres y acorde a las fotos. Sin embargo por las fechas no se puede tener las puertas abiertas a la terraza por los insectos.
La cocina esta muy bien equipada.

La recomiendo ampliamente por las amenidades y la naturaleza que te rodea.
Los guardias del condominio muy amables y siempre muy atentos.
Adriana estuvo siempre muy al pendiente y fue muy amable toda nuestra estancia.

We had the time of our lives staying at Casa Howler! The property is stunning and so well taken care of! It is the perfect place to stay as a couple for a private, calm experience but also doubles as an amazing option for a larger group of family/friends with the casitas on the property as well! The vibe and atmosphere is exactly what you want in a little beach town and it is close enough to everything to be able to walk just about anywhere you'd like to go! They also make checking in and out so easy and are always there to assist if you need it! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica. We traveled with our children and parents. The house was much more than we expected, incredibly clean and comfortable. In addition to that, we had Adriana, she was amazing and arranged for our transportation, helped us grocery prestocking and assisted with the best activities in Tamarinda. She checked in on us to make sure everyone was well and had everything needed and she was a big factor in how wonderful our vacation turned out. We will definitely be returning and will rent this home again. If you do, will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay in Tamara, very much. The house was great. The location was excellent, although I would recommend renting a golf cart to get around into town a little far, especially at night. The people of Costa Rica are the best, so friendly and welcoming. We felt very safe the restaurants are incredible.

We spent a week at Casa Howler in Tamarindo through Stay in Tamarindo. The House was exceptional, better than advertised. It was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything you would need. Adriana immediately took care of any minor issues we had. She was responsive and checked in with us throughout the trip. We also arranged a last-minute zip-lining trip and golf cart rentals through Adriana. I highly recommend Tamarindo, Casa Howler, Stay in Tamarindo, and Adriana!

This was a great place to stay in Tamarindo. Very comfortable and spacious. Great pool. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Many AC units and fans, we felt very cool in the heat. There was a storm and we lost power in two of the rooms, we contacted the host and she immediately sent two maintenance workers who fixed the problem. We appreciated the quick responses and helping us with all we needed. Walkable but driving to the beach is probably best, it can get very dark at night. It was a bit noisy in the area because of some construction going on. Still, the location is great and is close to everything. Overall a great experience and would consider staying again my next time in Tamarindo.

Beautiful airbnb! It was even better than the pictures and housed all 8 of us easily. Adriana was soooo helpful and responsive. Ask her to book you a sunset catamaran cruise — it was incredible! The airbnb kitchen is stocked with every gadget you could ever need, including a bunch of yeti mugs and an air fryer. We had such a great time!

Cannot say enough great things about Casa Howler. We were four adults and four children. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything (air fryer, Nespresso, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, Tupperware, full knife block, glasses for EVERY beverage imaginable [champagne, red wine, white wine, margaritas, beer, high ball, scotch, and drinking water] only missing a potato/carrot peeler…and I’m sure they’ll add that!). Built-in gas grill with out door wine fridge. PLENTY of towels (bath, pool, and beach for every person!). Two FULL bedroom in the side house with separate A/C each that cool quickly and offer amazing views. Regular house hold two bedrooms each with separate A/C. 100% privacy. Can’t see another person. 100% security and safety (with the garage door and locked gate access there was NEVER a concern). Short walk or golf cart ride to the main strip. Attentive and responsive concierge service that was second to none. Booked yoga session at the house and catamaran (Manta Ray) out of Flamingo beach that I would recommend. Full laundry (bring or buy detergent). Great closets. WiFi throughout property. Amazing in-ground pool with water feature and outdoor shower. Stop any hesitation now and book!!!

Our family spent a week at this lovely house during Spring Break vacation. The house has 4 lovely bedroom suites - our grandsons thoroughly enjoy having their own separate quarters! The Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped! The pool area was perfect for spending time at during the course of the day. The development was a short distance from the town center and we rented a Golf Cart which was a great way to go back and forth! I would definitely recommend this property to extended families or multiple couples visiting this area!

La villa est idéalement situé à l'écart de l'agitation de Tamatindo mais demeure hyper accessible et centrale. Le setup est parfait pour 2-3 familles avec les chambres dans des appartements séparés. Ceci permet de pouvoir relaxé le matin chacun dans son espace. Nous avons fait 3-4 BBQ et profité de la piscine abondamment.

Extremely professionally managed property that is equipped to a very high level way beyond many other similar priced properties. The house is well designed with lovely high ceilings and great layout and spacious feel. Development is still under construction, so some daytime building works nearby which has some impact but not too bad.

Cristina and Adriana were extremely responsive and accommodating! The directions were clear and they had a ton of information on tours, local eats, and spots to check out. The place was absolutely gorgeous and extremely clean. It is exactly like the pictures and not that far from town. The bedrooms were large, the bathrooms were spotless and the pool and outdoor area is awesome for relaxing. I would like to say your communication was awesome and the most responsive I have experienced. The concierge service was top notch and the house itself was gorgeous. The well equipped kitchen was absolutely a dream as well. I would highly recommend your spot to stay!

What a beautiful home! Everything was exactly as described in the listing and we would stay here again and again! I’m pretty particular about cleanliness and this home exceeded my expectations. A great layout for giving everyone their own space. The only negative would be the lack of internet service during our stay making watching TV not possible due to all TV’s being “smart TV’s “ only accessible through WiFi service. Since it rained heavily the first few days it made for very quiet evenings with no service. I would most definitely suggest renting a golf cart for trips into town. It wasn’t very far away but the roads were dirt and very very dark at night. The gentlemen that provided gate security were so friendly and helpful. If possible, remember them with a pizza or snacks as they work long hours. Do not hesitate in doing business with Stay in Tamarindo!
