Casa Hamacas

Our family of 15 stayed at Casa Hamacas for a week and absolutely LOVED the home. The backyard is an oasis and we didn't want to leave. The kids loved it and it was perfect for all ages. We rented golf carts for the week, which made getting around the community easy and fun. We felt safe the entire time, as the security here is very on top of it. Elsa was the best at communicating and helping us plan all the transportation and excursions prior to the trip. We would return again :) Highly recommend taking the walk down the beach to Lola's - great lunch spot with the coolest vibes.

We spent a wonderful week in Casa Hamacas in Hacienda Pinilla. The house and yard are beautiful and peaceful with local fauna visiting daily. We enjoyed the local golf course and access to the beach club. Collin was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful with all of our needs. He efficiently booked our day trips, arranged our golf cart, rental cars, and was responsive to all of our requests. Our house mom, Annika, was fabulous. She prepared delicious food and kept the house clean. Our entire experience was incredible and we will be back!

Our house mother, Dunnia, was a fabulous cook and kept our place spotless. Our hosts checked in every day to see if we needed anything. The outdoor area (pool, grill, grounds) were well kept and we loved the visitors (crabs, the racoon, butterflies and birds). It was relaxed and beautiful.

We had a nice stay at Casa Hamacas. The house is very spacious, it has a very nice Rancho facing the pool, and a nice bbq area to enjoy with the family. Emily and Elsa were very attentive and we felt at home. Thank you for the hospitality, Pura Vida!

The stay was what we expected and everything was clean. I liked the house because it was located close to the entry gate. It was a bit further from the beach than expected and $10 per person to get beach access at the clubhouse. That $10 goes towards your tab at the clubhouse. It gets spent fast ordering beverages. The house cleaning and cooking lady was very nice and came around 8:30-9:00 am every day except Sunday. Landscaping was also attentive. Overall it was a nice stay.

Our group of 9 had an amazing time at this property, the house was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor facilities were wonderful. Dani the concierge and Emmy the caretaker we’re absolutely amazing, Dani was quick to reply and assist us with booking many shuttles, had the house stocked with all food and drinks we could want. Emmy was a great chef she made the best guac and salsa I’ve ever had and had the best fresh juices prepared in the mornings. The community was quiet and very well taken care of, the beach club was a nice walk about 1.5 miles, but very pretty and we were even able to see some monkeys on our walk, the beach club was very reasonably priced and the beach was large and had a nice are with no rocks or debris to walk in. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back!

My stay was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect space for a group of 10! The privacy was also a plus! And let’s not forget the golf carts, just an amazing touch to experience the rest of the resort! I definitely recommend staying here for a calm and exciting time! Pura Vida!
Ps: Dani gave us the best concierge service! So helpful in many ways and just made all of us feel welcomed!

This gorgeous home was a week long respite and celebration house for our family. The lovely pool, excellent lanai, terrific house mom and proximately to the town, restaurants, beaches was perfect. Our children, in law children & grandchildren were delighted. Thank you to Emily, the house mom for her heart & hard word. Dan was a great host. Really solid vacation.

This home is a lovely 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom oasis. Our family had an absolute blast riding horses nearby, zip lining near by and our daily walk to the beach for the gorgeous sunsets! The house mom, Emily, was a delight and cooked breakfast daily. Our 25th anniversary trip brought our children & their family’s together in a perfect vacation!

For the price this place is great. It’s within the gates of hacienda panilla and if you rent a golf cart (highly recommend) you are close to Jw Marriott, the hacienda market and the beach club. There is a small fee to access the beach club but it is very reasonable and they have a wonderful pool, park, access to the beach and food service. Daniel ,our concierge, met us at the home and walked through all questions. There is a housekeeper that comes daily. The home has a nice backyard and pool but for service and daytime pool - the club was really worth it.

We loved Casa Hamacas for its pool and outdoor gazebo. It was our own private resort! We had 3 generations travelling together and there was lots of space for kids and adults to hang out and spend time together. Our tour guides and drivers (Eddy and José) were exceptional and made our excursions so memorable and taught us so much about Costa Rica and its people. We highly recommend it!

We had such a lovely time at Casa Hamacas. We spent my husband's birthday there and had friends and family visiting at different times. The property is beautiful and the rooms were set up very nicely. When we needed extra beds, maintenance came in and set up thick mattresses in different rooms or the living room. The outside area is set up very nicely and we spent much time outside. I would recommend bringing something for mosquitos other than bug spray, wish we had. The dally housekeeper was lovely, did a great job and was very helpful. Mariam and Elsa were amazing setting up excursions, answering questions and helping with everything. They made the trip so much better.

Casa Hamacas was a perfect fit for our large family holiday with 6 en-suite bedrooms and extra cots set upstairs for our 3 families. The pool and the outdoor kitchen/ranchero were absolutely perfect for a relaxing family dinner after a wonderful day at the beach. Having access to the beach club was an added bonus! We made so many wonderful family memories here. Mariam ( our concierge ) was very helpful and attentive to every detail right from our initial booking inquiries to our checkout. Stayed here with a very large group. It was perfect for us, had a great outdoors area to hang out. Wonderful home, great kitchen, nice beds, very clean, nothing to complain about. Mariam, the host, was also very responsive and nice. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only thing we wish we knew was to rent golf carts! It is very helpful to get around Hacienda Pinilla.

Casa Hamacas was perfect for our family of 6! The house is big and contemporary with large windows everywhere and was more than we had expected. The backyard pool and tiki hut was absolutely beautiful and the best way to spend a few hours in between the beach and activities. Our housekeeper, Yancee was a dream and prepared our breakfast daily and kept the house spotless during our stay. We will definitely being going back!

I rented several villas for my wedding at Hacienda Pinilla and Casa Hamacas was the best. Perfect location for all the guests to visit and hang out! The property was spacious, beautiful, and had great amenities.

The house and outdoors are great. Unbeatable service, great community, close to the beach and very recommended if traveling with elderly people as you will have rooms in the first floor and can park very close to the beach. The food and service at JW Marriott was excellent and we also have chefsebastiencr (IG) services one night and it was amazing! Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

What a trip!! Just returned from our 5 days at Casa Hamacas. We had 5 couples here, each in their own en-suite, with enough room to be together and have room to spread out. The house was beautiful, with everything we needed and more. The outdoor pool area with fans kept us cool while we ate meals outside together. The grill was great to have for lunchtime while we hung out in the pool. We had a couple of issues but maintenance was very responsive and they were handled quickly and we barely noticed they were there. I can’t speak highly enough about the crew we were lucky to have host us in Costa Rica. Elsa and Miriam thank you for everything! Pura Vida

We could not believe Casa Hamacas. It's even more amazing than what it looks like in the pictures! The house itself is awesome--beautiful, super modern, and everything is new. The beds were excellent, and everything was impeccably clean. But the best thing about this property is the outside area. Wow. It has the most amazing gardens and trees, with hammocks we loved, an great pool, and the most amazing pavilion. It's like another huge open-air home! We cooked on the grill and ate at the table out there in the pavilion, then hung out all night in the outdoor living room beside the pool. It has big fans and low lights, so there were no bugs. We loved the beach club at Pinilla and are definitely coming back to this amazing place! The staff that assisted us with airport transportation and setting up our tours was super nice and know the area very well. We absolutely recommend Casa Hamacas.

Casa Hamacas is a beautiful house with a modern look and tastefully decorated! My family and I stayed at this house and had a great time, the house is huge, there is room for everyone but honestly, the barbecue pavilion outside is so nice and spacious we spent most of the time outdoors, enjoying the pool and swings in the pavilion, those are fun! There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves, if you wanted to have some quiet time and read a book there were hammocks there where you could escape and relax, my daughter enjoyed her alone time. The house has really comfortable beds, the kitchen has all is needed, there are two living rooms which is great when having kids around, our little ones went upstairs and watched movies while the grown-ups had their own space. Overall the house is awesome, located in a very secure area with 24/7 security, near the beach, there is a beach club and golf course. Perfect for larger groups, highly recommended.

Me and my family had the best time at casa hamacas! The layout and design of the house is super convenient for a big group or hosting friends for dinner. The extra mattresses are super useful, our young ones used the in the living room to watch movies and play video games. Also the ranch and the pool are the perfect setting for enjoying the outside area and sunbathing. And it is a short drive to the beach.

What an incredible house! We had the best vacation. We are 2 families of 13 people and everyone fell in love with this house. We spent all of our time outside by the Pool. We BBQ’d almost every night. It is so comfortable and more than enough space for everyone. The swings and hammocks were the perfect addition. The house is comfortable and modern. The beds are great and there is a living room downstairs and upstairs so the kids hung out downstairs. I can not stay enough about this house. We were even able to walk to the beach. It took 20 minutes but worth it. Highly Recommend!!!
